About the property

2BR 1 Bath sleeps 5

Book your relaxing, affordable summer vacation now, on one of the Adirondack's finest lakes! Friends lake has no public access, so peace and quiet is what you'll find here. Our cabin is nestled among the pine trees, just across the street from the association beach. Sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds of summer in the mountains, or sit on the beach as you watch the kids swimming in the lake. Centrally located in the Adirondacks, the cottage is only about a 20 minute drive to either the Historic Village of North Creek or Warrensburg or about 30 minutes to Lake George Village, the Painted Pony Rodeo, Six Flags Amusement Park and many other Adirondack adventures.

The cottage is roomy, comfortable and outfitted with all the basics. Recently added a new smart tv with netflix, wifi and cable service! We look forward to being your Adirondack escape for years to come!

Second Stay was Even Better!

  • 5 of 5

Here are some highlights from our week:

- Spent the day in Ft Ticonderoga with cannons and muskets and three-cornered hats

- Kayaked to the middle of the lake at 10pm to watch the meteor shower

- Built my first (unassisted) fire!

- Fell asleep to the call of the loons every night

- Brought the pooch with us and he had as much fun as we did!

nice adirondack camp

  • 4 of 5

Overall good, but attention to details would help. The fire extinguisher was outdated. An exhaust fan in the bathroom would help with the humidity after a shower. Should revise the bedding needs, a queen, full, and twin.

On a positive note, the lake is awesome, the outdoor fireplace was enjoyable, and the internet was nice to have to connect the computer and get Netflix .

Cabin musty (probably due to couch) & stove old but great place to return to at end of day! Sleeping accommodations perfect!

Great small cabin just needed a by of dusting

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here for Memorial Day weekend great cabin for 6 people we had everything we needed for the long weekend even access to lake which was great for fishing. Only thing i personally did not like was if you are paying for cleaning we should not be arriving to something that needs cleaning. I found a vacuum in a closet which by the way it was so clogged you can tell it was not used in a very long time. I have allergies and the amount of dust was not something I enjoyed especially on the living room floor.

Overall not a bad cabin my only advise is to change the cleaning service everything else great !

Owner's Response: We' glad you enjoyed your stay. This was the first time the house was offered as a rental. We do have a cleaning crew now and the carpets were shampooed this week. Now that the house is being professionally managed it will get better and better each week. We hope to have you back!

I was pleasantly surprised by how cooperative the rental agent was.

The cottage was quite comfortable. It would have been nice if it was a bit closer to the lake but the lake and rowboat were great. We appreciated how quiet the road was especially at night.
