Good location to explore the lakes and rivers

Nice well set up place, quiet central location. Bedroom could use room darkening curtains if you like to sleep in. House has AC which was nice as it was quite warm when we were there.

Great location for hiking in the North Cascades.

  • 5 of 5

The house was clean and well maintained. Our trip was all about hiking and the house was the perfect location to experience the North Cascades. 5 B's bakery is a must, the Korean restaurant was great (and they were very friendly), so was Annie's Pizza...great place, lots to do!

It was very good

This place was pretty awesome. Only suggestions I would have are the following: Screens on the windows. It is the woods next to a river so there are bugs. The shower could use an update. Other than that this place was great. If we come back we'll stay again.

Nice Place!!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here for about 5 days in August of 2016. We did a lot of hiking in the North Cascade National Park nearby, and this was a great place to stay that is about halfway between the coast and the North Cascade National Park. We also visited San Juan Island via ferryboat from Anacortes (about an hour to the west).

*The cabin was clean and the view out the front windows to the Skigit River is great!

*It is secluded from the neighbors; you can easily sit out on the deck without the anybody seeing you (unless they drive by on the road).

*Close to a few amenities (good grocery store, a gas station, and a few restaurants) that will provide you with anything you need for your stay. All less than 5 minuntes from the cabin.

*The bed was comfortable

*I'm guessing the cabin was built in the 80's, but its very well kept.

We would stay here again and/or recomend others to stay here!!

Great place to stay when hiking around the North Cascades.

House was perfect for my husband and me. After a typical day of driving and hiking we would relax in this comfortable home. Stayed almost a week, so the washer and dryer was very convenient. Lovely to watch Skagit River while eating breakfast. The massage chair was heavenly after a full hiking day. Enjoyed staying in Concrete, people are very friendly. Korean BBQ delicious abundant food, also try Annie's delicious pizza. Great hospitality! Loved Sauk Pottery and Cascadian Farms. Salmon are jumping like crazy at the Water Management plant! Home is clean and convenient, owners are friendly and helpful.

Clean and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

I spent one month in this cabin. It is very clean and all the appliances are new. Kitchen utensils are also new. There's A/C !! Very convenient during the time that I stayed. From this cabin you do all the trails in the area. And I also did the ones that are about 2hr driving distance. The trails are amazing! The Supermarket is conveniently close. And the owners, George and Lisa are very kind.
