Comfortable, convenient and quiet

  • 5 of 5

This studio apartment was perfect for our family of four. Our children (ages 6 and 8) easily shared the futon, and the kitchen was well-equipped to serve up meals. We walked to a nearby grocery store and ate at neighborhood restaurants. There's a list of recommendations in the studio. Transportation into Manhattan is easily accessible. And, there are many activities in Brooklyn to choose from too. Brooklyn Bridge Park was a big hit with our family. We will definitely check with Howard first to see if his studio is available before our next trip to New York.

Wonderful, quiet, convenient, well-maintained apartment in beautiful neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

The best thing about this apartment is its location. Close to several subway stations, shops, and restaurants, it is unusually quiet for a New York apartment. Light and airy, it is located on the back of a charming three-story townhouse on a wooded residential street. It's on the third floor up two flights of stairs. The owner lives on the premises and was exceptionally responsive to anything I needed. Brooklyn Heights is an upscale neighborhood with wonderful restaurants, walking opportunities and little of the stress, noise, edginess, crowds, and traffic of much of Manhattan, yet visitors can reach Broadway and many NYC tourist sites in 15-30 minutes. "The Heights" also has a wonderful promenade that overlooks the river and the downtown Manhattan skyline and harbor. I will definitely be staying there again.

Wonderful place to explore NYC from.

  • 5 of 5

My husband, my 13-year old daughter and I stayed here for four nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We really liked having the kitchen available so we could prepare a quick breakfast each morning before we set out for the day. The property was clean and well-maintained and the neighborhood felt very safe and quiet. It was such a treat to be so close to the iconic view of the Manhattan skyline. We walked the block or so several times during our stay because we couldn't get enough of that view! I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

This light-filled studio is the perfect combination of comfort and convenience. It is immaculate, with generous amenities and touches, including a notebook of local restaurant menus and sites to see. The shower could double as a massage and a futon can do double duty as a couch or extra bed. A Starbucks is literally two blocks away, and transportation is easy walk. The owner responds immediately and provides clear instructions. I will definitely be staying here again.
