A note from the owners - After a long hike or a great day on the ski slopes, the focus of our home becomes the hot tub where, even if you are not soaking your aching muscles, you can sit on the steps or lean over the balcony and join in on the discussion. Our whole family has wonderful memories of visiting friends, fun conversations, lots of laughs and even hotly contested trivial pursuit games in the living room next to the wood stove. TV was rarely turned on except for sports finales when big rivalries were at stake. But the really important question-will Dad make it past 9 o’clock? Telluride is so unique, so special for our family. Telluride has great skiing in the winter - a truly world class ski mountain, and the summers are on par, or even better than the winters, because of the festivals and the weather. It's was one of the easiest decisions we have ever made.
This house is perfectly located and it's such a wonderful house for families. We are a quick walk to the ski lifts, or a quick walk to the market, or take an easy 5 minute stroll to the restaurants, bars and shops - simple. You arrive, park your car and then say goodbye to it, because you won't need it while you are here. The neighborhood is quiet and very family oriented. There are many full time families on our street, so you'll usually find kids playing and smiling in the front yards.
The house was everything expected. The furnishings were appealing and in excellent condition. The dining/living area was amenable to large family dinners. The hot tub was sublime. And everything was in working order. Lattitude 38 provided excellent service as well. I'd recommend this property.
