About The Owner

My wife and I live and work in Yosemite National Park and purchased this home in hopes to move to Tahoe in the future. Every travel opportunity we get always brings us to Tahoe. We love the town, lakes, elevation, ski areas, events, people, proximity to amenities, and immediate access to forest trails. We now have a 4 year old daughter (Sophie), a 15 month old daughter (Kaylee) and dog (Abbita) that we thankfully get to experience this beautiful place and area with.

We are very happy to offer our condo as a rental so other people and families can enjoy the experience of Tahoe.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2008

Why The Owner chose South Lake Tahoe

Location is perfect for our vacation and recreation desires. Immediate access to forest recreation and walking distance to beaches, restaurants and nightlife could not be better. We also love the people and community where the condo is located.

What makes this condo unique

Great access to outdoor recreation activity, quiet and beautiful location for South Lake Tahoe, and excellent community with good people.

Great Tahoe Stay

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a great stay in Tahoe after being gone for 38 years. The accommodations were close to my old rental and the sights were great to see once again around the lake. We would like to come back again soon some day and stay in the same spot. The condo was everything that you would expect, nice location to all the things we liked to do, like hiking trails. My previous stay in Tahoe is outlined in our new book - Book of Boomers: Our Journey through Life and our website is located at

Beautiful and affordable condo minutes from beach; with owner providing excellent service.

  • 5 of 5

I have been going to South Lake Tahoe for 25 years, and this was by far the best place to stay! Especially if you are looking to be able to take a walk to the beach, and if you and your spouse or children would like to have a getaway, this is the place. It is located by numerous eateries and those are equally as close to the beach. The surrounding area of the condo was wonderful and to top all of this off, Jeff, the owner was more than helpful. Jeff and his family genuinely wants to help their guests enjoy the best experience possible and truly makes you feel like a part of the family. I would more than recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy the full Tahoe hospitality per the owner, while enjoying what beautiful Tahoe has to offer.

Great little place. Close to everything. About a 2-3 minute drive to pope beach or camp Richardson. Had everything we needed. Quiet place. Friendly neighbors and well maintained pool. Got to see a bear right when we got there. Amazing to be in nature but close to everything

Cozy condo on the edge of a beautiful national park-

  • 5 of 5

My four member family had a wonderful time at Abbitas Hideway over New Year's. We enjoyed spending time in the cabin and were impressed that all our needs were anticipated- from spices we had forgotten to extra blankets, towels etc. The condo was well heated in the winter. the space was ample and light, and we loved how close we were to lively downtown South Lake Tahoe. It was great to be located close to manyrestaurants/stores, but still stay in nature. We were able to cross country sky a few feet away from the door. The host was kind and made our stay hassle free. We loved all the bear decor and hope to return soon!
