Location, Location!! Our condo is across the street from the Gulf, it is in the middle of the Island so it is easy to drive to the Lighthouse end of the Island or to the Captiva end. Our beach is quiet and peaceful...we can ride bikes to the grocery, the movies, the bike trails thru preserves or to the marina to rent a kayak.

This condo complex, known as Seashells of Sanibel, offers a charming, small, family oriented atmosphere. Features include tennis, shuffleboard, a heated swimming pool, BBQ wifi and most of all... easy access to the beautiful Gulf waters. On site bikes are available for rent -- with more than 23 miles of dedicated bike trails.

My beautiful two-bedroom/two-bath condo offers a fully-equipped kitchen which includes a new 2015 refrigerator, a dishwasher, garbage disposal, a new 2015 self-cleaning oven, and a microwave oven. There is also a separate dining area.In the Fall of 2012 we installed all new tile flooring in LR/DR/Kit/bath - lovely ! In 2013 we installed new laminate flooring in the BRs.

Sleeps six....

The master bedroom suite has brand new furniture Oct 2013, TV and its own bathroom. The second bedroom has two brand new 2017 twin beds, mattresses and its own bathroom. The living room has a queen-size sleeper, TV with loads of channels, a DVD, WIFI and brand new sliding glass doors opening to the lanai. Watch the pair of ospreys who have chosen the nest right in front of our lanai...amazing!

Amenities include central cooling/heat. . Laundry facilities, bikes and outdoor grills are on the premises. WIFI from our condo.

Sanibel has a year-round population of approximately 5,700 people, but during the winter season it increases to about 18,000. Sanibel is shaped like a boomerang, and is approximately 11 miles long and two miles wide at its widest point.

The 'Ding Darling' National Wildlife Refuge makes up approximately 50% of the island. A five-plus mile nature trail running through the Wildlife Refuge is truly outstanding. Try to see it early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the birds are returning to the estuary.

Captiva Island is connected to Sanibel, and is about six miles long and very narrow. It's worth a visit ! Fun restaurants

Whether you want to watch the sun rise while having breakfast on your screened lanai, or walk the beach and collect shells -- or fall asleep to a cool breeze, my Sunrise/Sunset Condo will be a wonderful home base for your vacation. And Sanibel is like no other place for a family vacation or a romantic getaway.

Why Maria chose Sanibel

We fell in love with Sanibel Island the moment we crossed over the causeway...No high rise buildings, no bill-boards and loads of preserved land. Bike trails everywhere !!

Seashells is located in the best section of the island in terms of EZ access to the gulf, the stores and the restaurants. You can ride your bikes to many popular restaurants, the movie theater, the grocery store and even to nature center where they will rent you a boat/kayak.

The beach is an EZ 3 min walk away, the heated pool is quiet and peaceful and we have two tennis courts. We have also made sure to upgrade the condo each year...it is our home away from home.

Notes:
End unit - quiet with view of nesting ospreys. Last year the next had eagles....who knows which will win the battle for the nest in 2018. Had new tile flooring installed May 2012 in LivingRm-Dining Rm, Kitchen and bath ! Beautiful.... New laminate flooring installed in BRs 2012. Clean & pretty. Just purchased a brand new Master BR set ! Aug 2013 Mattress & boxspring new 2012 + 2017. New stove & refrig 2015, new sliders to lanai 2014...comfortable and updated !

Wonderful Location - Love the Condo

Love the new decor, had a great time. So convenient with plenty of space, comfortable and well kept.

Everything We Needed and expected

I think I may book condos instead of hotel rooms whenever possible for future trips. This condo was perfect for us. Plenty of room to spread out, all the anemities we needed and a short 5 minute walk to the beach. Condo was clean and well upkept.

Very good location for getting to restaurants and grocery stores. There is plenty to do on the island to keep you busy. If that is what you want. We enjoyed doing as little as possible at times.

If you want to take a good fishing charter, we would suggest Captain Dieter of captivacharter. Very knowlegeable and friendly.

Sea Shells by the seashore...and so much more!

What a wonderful week spent on sunny Sanibel. The weather was absolutely perfect!!! The unit had all the comforts of home, it was peaceful and quiet. The grounds were well kept and this was an absolutely perfect location and easy access to just about everything! We loved all the "natural" habitat viewing - the red headed woodpeckers were especially amusing to watch while relaxing on the Lanai - surprisingly, we even saw a furry bunny during our pleasant private walkway access to the beach as well as a tortoise across from our parking spot ;-)

The short walk to the private beach access was a welcome start to our day as well as the evening - the sunsets on the sandy, soft beaches of Sanibel are absolutely breathtaking!

Can't wait to plan the next Sea Shells adventure! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful place!

A wonderful place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at unit 34. It was very well-furnished, and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The unit was updated nicely and tastefully. It was located in a very central location to everything on Sanibel. The beach was a short walk away. The condo complex was clean and quiet. There was a small, but nice pool and a freshly resurfaced tennis court. On the day we pulled into the driveway for the start of our vacation, a small alligator crossed the road, right in front of us. There are osprey nesting directly across the parking lot from this unit, as well.

We would not hesitate to stay here, in the future, the next time we travel to Sanibel.

Lovely vacation condo!

This condo provided everything my husband and I needed for a weeks' vacation. Beach chairs and umbrella, as well as other beach toys were waiting for us on the lanai. We loved watching the Ospreys feeding their chicks every day. The beach was a short walk - lots of shells and lots of sunshine! The pool is a great place to cool off after the beach. The on-site bike rental was really convenient - Bailey's grocery store was a quick bike ride away. I especially recommend bicycling the Ding Darling trail - only $1 for a bike! If you're not ready for an 8 mile ride (4 miles through plus 4 miles back on San-Cap Rd) you can just go 2 miles and then take the Indigo trail back for a total of 4 miles. Thanks for a great week!

Owner's Response: One of my favorite features of our vacation condo is its location. It is so convenient to everything you want to do. I also love watching the ospreys build their nest in Dec and care for their young until they fly off in May. We have made our condo as comfortable as possible, we want our guests to be stress free and just have fun.
