Exquisitely furnished, west corner unit penthouse in Sterling Shores Condominium on Gulf of Mexico. Over 2200 sq feet of luxury! You will enjoy sweeping views of the emerald green, crystal clear waters of the gulf, and it's white powdery quartz crystal sands from this unit. The main balcony is over huge, 138 feet by 11 feet!

PLEASE click on additional photos for a virtual tour and additional photographs! All the photos shown were all taken at the beginning of 2012, except for the balcony furniture which was just replaced this week, (Jan 28, 2012). The virtual tour is very dated but still allows you to get a feel for the layout of the penthouse.

Sterling Shores has two pools for guests to use...one is a seasonally heated 4300 square feet pool with a gorgeous fountain kids will enjoy while the other is on the gulf and has a tiki bar for the big people and the little people to enjoy. You MUST try their hamburgers and rootbeer floats...They are the best!! A 42-seat surround sound full screen theatre is offered to guests as well as an exercise room.

You are within walking distance of both casual and fine dining restaurants, and lots of amusements parks, including water rides, bumper cars, minature golf, bungee jumping, and kiddie's rides. If you want walking/running trails, start at the front of the condo and go to your hearts desire. You are within a mile of all your shopping needs...from grocery, to discount, to retail malls..You are at the center of Destin's activities.

Our penthouse is the largest one in Sterling Shores and features 12 foot ceilings and crown moldings, beautiful furnishings and paintings, custom draperies and decorations, and even a marble top on the wet bar which has a separate refrigerator. The fully appointed kitchen features beautiful granite countertops, as well as the kitchenette in the 2nd master and all of the bathrooms!! All of the flooring is tiled throughout. It is the Biscayne model that features a separate lock out bedroom with it's own small kitchen,(including a sink, microwave, and refrigerator), and a private balcony. There are flat screen cable tv's with HBO and dvd players in each bedroom. And, the living area features a large screen HDTV with stereo speakers. The balcony also has speakers for enjoying soft music with that glass of wine before dinner. It is by far the most beautifully decorated condo in all of Sterling Shores, and most certainly no other unit has our incredible views!! We even have a large toy box right outside the front door for storing the kids beach toys, floats, etc. for your convenience.

We do not provide beach set ups at the low rate we charge, but we do provide a beach buggie cart with a lock, so it will be easy for you to transport your stuff to the beach.

There is a full size crib, plus a portacrib and a highchair for your convenience. The kitchen is equipped with all the items you would find at home. We try to think of everything you might need to make your vacation a truly special, fun filled memory!

You will love the ocean views from both balconies off of the master bedroom and living area as well as the 2rd King bedroom. You will have gorgeous beach views looking south, and incredible sunset views at dusk, and spectacular city night light views looking west! Gorgeous, gorgeous views!

Some question the little street that runs between Sterling Shores and the ocean side pool, tiki hut, and ocean. I tried to take a picture from the balcony overlooking the edge of the large pool so you can see the Back Porch Restaurant and the gated walkway from SS to the ocean. It is not a through street, but a streeet primarily for the Grazie and Back Porch restaurants. There is a push button in case it is needed for crossing the street. It is NOT a detriment to getting to the beach and the distance is negligible. The walkin to two restaurants, Pizza place and the tiki hut without having to get in your car are welllll worth the little street!!

Each bedroom has it's own private bath while the two master's have their own separate jacuzzi's and showers. All the bedrooms have large walk-in closets.

If you can't tear yourself away from your computer even while on vacation, you will enjoy a small office area complete with highspeed internet access. And, no other unit offers a wet bar with refrigerator and gorgeous marble top!

The owner's offer their private covered parking space for guests. The elevator is located just across from this parking spot, and when you arrive on the top floor, your front door is just steps away. You never have to worry about getting wet if it is raining!

You will not find a more beautifully furnished penthouse that offers you the gulf and sunset views with the city lights of Destin for round the clock enjoyment. To make sure you enjoy your stay, we provide each guest with our own personal recommendations of restaurants and activities. And, since we live in Destin, we are just a phone call away if you need anything.

We offer only Sat to Sat rentals, no nightly rates. We are strict non smokers, so please do not smoke inside our unit!

We 'discoverd' Destin and the Emerald Coast 16 years ago and knew immediately we were retiring here. I spent the first 3 winters at our beach home, listing 24559, while my husband came down every other weekend as he was still working. I can't even describe how much I still cherish all the memories I experienced during those winters. All the times my mother and father came down, our children, our friends... and how many wonderful people we met strolling on the beaches.. We built our retirement home and have continued to live here as we acquired more and more properties. It is just an incredibly wonderful place to visit and to live!!!!

What makes this condo unique

The views, the views, the views! We lived in the penthouse while our retirement home was being built. Gosh, I just loveddddd it! I can't begin to describe how relaxing and wonderful that experience was. Our penthouse is on the west corner of the building and there are no other comparable views in all of Destin. Just incredibly beautiful views of the ocean and all the city night lights from both of the balconies.. Just gorgeousssss! And, if I may brag about my decorations in the penthouse as well as the unique changes I have made to it, I think it is not comparable to any other unit in Sterling Shores! I converted a closet to a bar area... the only one in the entire building: Crown moldings, tiled floors, upgraded furniture and furnishings all throughout the penthouse; Granite in all the rooms and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen... we spared no expenses in making our penthouse the best place imaginable to stay!

We had another amazing vacation and we're all so sad to leave this morning! The condo is like home to us now and we loved all of the updates you've made. As soon as I know when our Fall Break is next school year, I'm going to book our next stay. Heck, we are contemplating coming back this Fall Break, but I'd have to work from the condo.



Thanks again. Your condo is the perfect fit for us and honestly has the best views in Destin!! My husband took many time lapse videos from the balcony. When we get home, I'll send them to you. They are super cool to watch!

Our favorite!

We just concluded another fabulous week in Destin. We have been staying in PH19 for years and it just keeps getting better. It is large enough to easily accommodate two families with three children. It is well appointed with all the necessities including four very nice televisions and two beach carts. The views are without a doubt the best in Destin! Looking forward to a return trip.

Fantastic Beach Stay

This is our 5th or 6th. time staying in this Penthouse condo. I guess you can say we LOVE it! The penthouse is always in GREAT condition. Bev even updated it more this year with new stainless appliances in kitchen as well, as a new washer and dryer. The view is THE best for Sterling Shores. We now have 40 family members coming done at the same time, but they all know we have first choice for the penthouse. We are all looking forward to next year's beach vacation . Thanks Bev
