Perfect location for a ski trip.
Perfect place for a no frills ski trip. Close to Bromley and Stratton. Fireplace... check. Kitchen... check. Beds... check. And owners were very accommodating by letting us check out of the cabin around three so our dog could stay behind while we skied Sunday.
A Little Dated
We found the place to be extremely dated. It was a great location, but the house really can use some updating. It could be so awesome if it was updated . The bathrooms & fixtures were old, the water smelled like rust, the furniture was old & the house overwhelmingly smelled like glade air freshener. We were very disappointed.
The home is advertised as a sixties built "A" frame characteristic of the era. All fixtures remain intact portraying that time period.
This is not a modern condo for rent and by no means is it advertised as such.
Everyone has different tastes.
Nothing fancy but a perfect spot for a ski weekend
My husband and I and our three children stayed at this home over February break for a family ski trip. The accommodations aren't fancy, but the house was clean and had the perfect amount of space for the 5 of us. It was a quick drive to Bromley and about a 20 minute drive to Stratton.
The kitchen space is tiny so don't expect to do much cooking or entertaining. Our only complaint was that the firewood was very damp so making a fire was difficult. Other than that the home was perfect for a quick ski trip and ideal if you are trying to stay within a budget. I would definitely stay here again!
Small but efficient.
The house was suitable for our family of 5 for a long ski weekend. We didn’t spend much time at the house and only used the very small kitchen to prepare breakfast. The accommodations were fine for our needs but if you are looking to entertain or spend a good deal of time at the house you might be disappointed. Overall the house was clean and had the space that we needed. I would recommend it if you are trying to stay within a budget. Very close to Bromley and about 15/20 min to Stratton.
Great place, great location. Fell in love with A Frame Life!
Everything you need for a Vermont getaway. We had 2 adult couples and 2 dogs and had plenty of room. hosts were very responsive and available for questions.
Vermont Ski weekend nostalgia
What a lovely home! We really enjoyed the quaint A frame ski lodge. There was plenty of room for our family of four. The location was perfect for skiing at Bromley. We hope to be back!
