This adorable and well kept Cabin sits on the side of Mount Peter Ski Area. It's truly beautiful.

My family and I are from out of state. We stayed for three nights and had the best time exploring beautiful Orange County. The foliage was just beginning to turn and staying in this adorable cabin added to the magic of early Autumn. If you are looking for a sweet, cozy spot to spend some quality family time then this is the place. We would love to go back during other seasons too, it was such a nice experience!

Relaxing retreat

  • 4 of 5

We go to the Renaissance faire every Labor Day weekend and were looking for more comfortable accommodations than a motel and definitely found it here! Large deck off one side to watch the deer on the hill, covered porch on the other side to enjoy nature when it rained. Only a few miles from grocery stores and close to the faire

"Get out of the city!" -Balki

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time during a long weekend stay in Spring. Really nice to get out of NYC after a winter indoors. The kids really enjoyed exploring the yard and looking for bugs and worms. The playroom off the kitchen/dining room was stocked with blocks and toys. The grill makes tasty steaks. The host, Hari, was responsive and sent a helpful detailed memo with some places to eat and things to do.

The house is well maintained and has a very homie vibe.

Really close to the ski slopes and town, so it is super easy to entertain your younger kids.

Cool cabin, cool area

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in winter. Easy 90 minute drive from NYC. Cabin is awesome, very quiet and relaxing. The photo's really don't do the cabin justice. Hari's communication was great before, during & after our stay. He sends a very thorough email with instructions for the house and many tips on the local area, which really helped minimise the settling-in period. He also refunded the security deposit the day after we left. We were first time skiers, but Mount Peter seemed great for beginners and reasonably priced to us. Would love to go back in autumn. Highly recommend!
