The property, "Windjammer Resort" is made up of a group of families that own individual cabins that make up an association resort community. There is a "Common Area" for all to share...sun deck, fire pit, beach, kayaks, row boat, picnic tables by the water
Boaters welcome and Pet friendly. Lodging for ALL SEASONS. Enjoy the atmosphere of beauty, nature, and tranquility. Some say 'Magical', 'Home away from Home', and 'Slice of Heaven'.
Spider Lake is approximately a 450 acre spring fed 'All Sports Lake' with a 40' depth known for its warm water, sand bottom, coves, and islands to explore. The lake has fishing for bass, bluegill, perch, pike, and crappie.
The 2.6 acre property has 9 cabins that can accommodate approx 52 guests or more comfortably. Cabins consist of: LOG HOME #9 built 2009 that overlooks the Resort. The common area by cabins 1-8 are shared by all and has 3 Log Cabins built 2001, and 5 Original Cabins. Please inquire to rent whole resort

PONTOON RENTAL - Please inquire at time of reservation. The resort has 2 pontoons that can be rented as well as nearby vendors for jet ski, water trampoline, speed boat
BRING YOUR OWN BOAT - We have 2 docks and you will need to reserve dock space.
ROW BOATS/KAYAKS - First come first served. Bring your own jet ski or kayak
FIRE PIT- Provide your own firewood.
VASA PATHWAY- The resort is 4 miles from the VASA SINGLE TRACK HEAD on Supply Rd which attaches to VASA PATHWAY...biking, running, snow shoe, non motorized
Also, 2 miles form snow mobile trail head where you can rent snow mobiles

Founded in 1926, the National Cherry Festival. Sample is held the first weeks of July. Sample every imaginable cherry product.

Sweeping for 64 miles in a golden arc along the clear blue waters of Lake Michigan, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is a national treasure enjoyed by more than a million visitors each year. The national lakeshore, located 23 miles west of Traverse City. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is a living demonstration of the forces that shape our planet.
Located on the 45th parallel, Traverse City is home to vintners who grow grapes and bottle wines on the scenic Old Mission and Leelanau Peninsulas. The wines are fast becoming among the finest offered nationally and internationally. Because of it's typography, it is known as The Cherry Capitol of the World.
