We were off the rental market for about a year, but now available again. 12 Braddock Cove has a beautiful view of Braddock Cove and the South Beach Marina. Short 1 minute walk to South Beach Marina and the Salty Dog.

The two story floor plan has 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths. The lower level has a garage, three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a covered porch. Upstairs you will find the main living area, gourmet kitchen, dining, 2 decks, the master bedroom/bathroom, laundry room and half bath.

The living area is well appointed with a 42” flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo. There’s an open floor plan the flows from the kitchen to the dining room right out to the balcony overlooking Braddock Cove and the South Beach Marina.

The Master Bedroom is located on the upper level and has a king size bed, walk in closet, large flat screen TV and a luxurious private bath that includes a Jacuzzi bath, separate shower and his and her vanities.

On the lower level there is a 2nd master bedroom with a king size bed, walk in closet and private bath with a curved glass brick wall separating the bathroom from the bedroom.

Just down the hall you will find the Twin Bedroom with twin beds, flat screen TV with built in DVD player, walk in closet, private bath and sliding glass doors that open out to the covered patio overlooking Braddock Cove and the marsh.

Last, but not least, is the Queen bedroom. This bedroom has a queen sized bed, flat screen TV with built in DVD player, private bath, sliding glass doors that open out to the covered patio and windows overlooking Braddock Cove and the marsh.

Grill out on the patio while enjoying the afternoon shade and watching the dolphins, wildlife and boats go by. After supper you can stroll over to South Beach to sit and listen to the live music while enjoying an ice cream with your kids or maybe an adult beverage with your golfing buddies or bridge partners.

If cooking is not on your agenda for your vacation you will enjoy the four restaurants at South Beach without having to fight any traffic or search for a parking spot. There’s also a free Sea Pines shuttle that takes you to all the Sea Pines Resort’s restaurants, shops and amenities, including Harbor Town and the Beach Club.

The Recreational activities on Hilton Head Island are almost limitless. But let me name a few that are available within a 5 minute walk of our vacation home; kayak rentals, jet ski rentals, power boat rentals, sail boat rentals, charter fishing boats, dolphin viewing boat tours, shopping, five miles of beaches, surf fishing, 15 miles of bike trails

Braddock Cove Club is a quiet slice of Heaven only steps away from the bustling South Beach Marina and the Salty Dog, and within only a few minutes on the trolley or your own automobile you can enjoy truly fine dining, exquisite shopping, championship golf courses, and water sports of all types. It’s a great place for a large family or an intimate getaway for couples.

Great family trip

We absolutely enjoyed our time at 12 Braddock Cove for our summer family vacation. The condo was spacious and comfortable for all 7 of us. It was right by South Barch and you could easily walk to rent bikes get ice cream have a meal , or do many different water activities. The ever popular Harbor Town was either a bike ride or a long walk away. My husband and I walked many mornings over to Harbor Town and had breakfast and walked back. It's highly recommended for a family vacation or a couples trip.

Wonderful Home

Great floor plan. We were four adults and four children ages 9 to 15 and never felt restricted. Restaurants, fishing, parasailing, jet skis and shopping were a two minute walk. Principal was wonderful to deal with. Very pleasant experience. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

Incredible view, beautiful home

The view from both levels of this home is breathtaking. We love the South Beach area so much, the beach is on Cabilogue Sound where the water is brackish so not as salty as the Atlantic side of the beach, it's just lovely.

Each bedroom has it's own bathroom, they are all perfectly sized. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped.

You cannot go wrong renting this home. It is beautifully and comfortably decorated and spotless. The owner, Mr. Johnson was a dream to work with!

MOLD infested

My family booked this rental for our 2015 Spring Break. We arrived around 9pm on Saturday, March 28 and walked into a home infested with mold and mildew. The smell was overpowering. I immediately called the emergency number as the rest of the family opened doors and turned on fans. We reluctantly unloaded and attempted to prepare a late dinner.

I was told the manager on duty would call within 20 minutes. The manager attempted to find another suitable unit for us to sleep in that night, but was unable to help us.

Meanwhile, we closed off the two rooms on the first floor which had the strongest mold smell and we all moved upstairs for the night. With all the windows open and fans on, we huddled under blankets to sleep. Through out the unit, there were air fresheners which attempted to mask the smell (they couldn't).

On Sunday, we found out this unit had been slated for "repairs" which had never taken place. The manager eventually found a suitable rental for us in Palmetto Dunes and we moved in late Sunday night. Ultimately, we lost an entire day of vacation on Hilton Head.

While beautiful with amazing views, this condo is uninhabitable until the mold issue is addressed. Also, the location at the South end of Sea Pines makes for a long drive to anywhere else on Hilton Head.

Owner's Response: I'm sorry your stay was not stellar. If you will take a look at our other guest reviews you will see this is not the norm for us. Your rental was not booked by me. You booked through a local management company I use. I was aware (as was the rental company) that we had a leak that had caused a mess. The week you checked in, I had a contractor scheduled to come repair the leak and clean up the mold spot on the carpet from the leak. The rental company bumped the contractor from coming so that they could rent the unit to you. I was not aware of this, until I get an email with your scathing review of my place. However, here's the odd thing - when you moved out, the rental company came in and cleaned up the spot on the floor and then rented it to another family - who, as with the majority of our guests, loved the place and had no issues. As I write this, the contractors are there repairing the leak and making any other necessary repairs. As I have never had any contact with you, please go on my VRBO page and send me a note so that I can get more details from you about the problems you incurred. And YES, we are a bit off the beaten path. Away from the hoards of people and traffic that make the island very unappealing to many. We love the South Beach area for that very reason. If you enjoy the crowds and the traffic, maybe you should have done a little more home work and stayed closer to that sort of stuff, not on the charming, quiet southern tip of the island where you can walk to nice restaurants and quaint shops without having to fight the crowds.
