Clean, quiet little cabin perfect for a weekend away!

  • 5 of 5

I loved this cabin. I would never go to another one after staying here! I felt like I was at home and it was very clean. It was updated so things like the fridge, shower and stove were easy to work with. Beautiful place and definitely worth checking it out!

Great property

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time! The property is beautiful and the house is spacious. It was nice that the house was not right on Main Street, but it is close enough to drive there quickly. Teresa was great and quick at responding to questions. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful and well equipped mountain tri-level home

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four and pups loved our three night Christmas weekend away in this adorable, comfortable home. Teresa has every possible item one could need including a plethora of wood for the fire, various movies, an incredibly well equipped kitchen, and plenty of cozy bedding for all of us to be snuggly and warm. Teresa has thought of everything from yoga mats to a dog bed! There are even strips of cloth provided to make a wish and tie onto the outside “fairy tree” (apparently a special old Celtic tradition). The home is right above William Heise county park with beautiful and peaceful hiking options. The only challenges we encountered were never being able to get the Wi-fi to be operational and having to take all our garbage with us as there is no trash pickup provided. Otherwise, it was a fabulous trip and we would definitely choose to stay here again!!!

Owner's Response: Debra and Heidi, Thank you for the positive review. I am so sorry you had difficulty with the wifi. Next time just call me and I can call the company. Looking for options for trash. These are the challenges of rural areas. Thanks again and come back anytime! Teresa

Awesome Cabin & Location !!!

  • 5 of 5

We went to the cabin to celebrate my husband's 53rd birthday. We fished in Lake Cuyamaca before checking in. Having the William Heise State Park entrance near the cabin was wonderful to have a morning walk on the trails. Later, a very short ride into town for some boutique shopping and an early dinner at Romano's. The cabin owner, Teresa, was a pleasure to work with, and the VRBO site portrays exactly what to expect. We spotted deer and wild turkeys on the property during out stay. We will definitely return; hopefully soon.

Peace and Tranquility

  • 5 of 5

We just arrived home from a much needed getaway! Your home was so peaceful and the energy was very soothing. The living area was like being in a tree house as every window had a view of trees. Kitchen was full equipped and the downstairs bedoom was so comfy. It was awesome laying in bed reading a book and looking out the slider only to see a beautiful deer coming for a visit. Our Aussies Macy and Maxwell felt right at home! Thank you for having such a wonderful getaway. ..and the Fairy Tree was a fun touch..haven't seen a fairy tree since my visit to Scotland visiting family...brought back fun memories! We will be back! Warm regards, Cynthia

Loved it

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful secluded mountain cabin. Loved loved loved it. Had everything we needed and wanted. My eight year old grandson said it was the best cabin he's ever stayed in. My grandson love seeing all the turkeys and deer and cows. Being a city boy he thought it was awesome! We even had deer in the backyard the first afternoon. We really enjoyed how much room there was to move around in the cabin. The refrigerator was huge and that was a plus. We had a fire in the fireplace each evening and played Monopoly continuously.
