We are travel agents and we loved our stay.We are a family of 5 plus our female boxer.The property allowed us to feel if we were in our own home.

The location is perfect. Steps to the beach,close to great restaurants,and easy access to the freeway, The property has large flat screen tv's ,a beautiful kitchen, very comfortable beds,free internet, bikes and covered parking. We could never have this comfort in a 5 star hotel .We will be recommending this to all our clients who do not want a hotel atmosphere.We personally will be back.

Ok place- Could be better

The location of this place was really good and very convenient for visiting Disney, LA, and surrounding areas. Very easy to travel to and from. The beach is a little walk but is very pretty when you get there. The unit has bicycles in the garage which our teenagers enjoyed while there. Parking was a little questionable as you are sharing the unit with different upstairs tenants as well as others who live near by along with area construction workers. This unit is listed as spacious and as luxurious. This is untrue honestly. It is average overall and is certainly not luxurious. It appeared fairly clean but the unit has a bad problem with silverfish insects mainly but not limited to the master bedroom closet. Killed probably 30 silverfish while we were there and even found them in our suitcase at our next stop in San Francisco. Also, the kitchen sink area has ants coming in each day. This unit is very expensive and we were super disappointed to find that it did not have an AC Unit. Each day it was 80+ degrees outside and probably even hotter inside. They left fans in the closet but they really didn't help as it was so hot. This was not revealed to us during the reservation process and that shouldn't happen. Additional issues were as follows: The smell of something dead while sitting on the backsteps. The refrigerator water dispenser is disgustingly nasty. There are no exhaust fans in the very small bathrooms and combined with the heat in the unit, it was not pleasant when getting cleaned up in the mornings. The master bathroom has a see through door which is obviously uncomfortable especially without being able to lock the bedroom door. I am not writing this review to be negative. I only took the time to do so as I would hate for another family to travel so far and pay so much unless the above issues are addressed by the owner. The unit has potential and could indeed be made into a luxurious place but it is a long way from that currently. I would have loved to rate it high and leave a great review, but I just cant and I'm sorry.

Hopefully improvements will be made that will make staying here more pleasurable in the future for others. The ocean/beach area were beautiful though. Thanks.

Owner's Response: Sorry that the above guests had such a disappointing time. This is the first review that was less then 5 stars. The guests never contacted me regarding any issues. I strive to give my guests a wonderful experience. Regarding cleaning . All my properties are immaculate and well cared for.

great layout, kept immaculately

Wonderful condo in quiet section of MDR steps from the sand. Great location walk/drive to Venice and Santa Monica. Riding the bikes made available was a great way to start our day along the beach to take in the sights and stop for coffee along the way.

Looking forward to a return stay. Owner is very accommodating.

The Perfect Getaway

My family of 5 stayed at this property for 8 nights and it was everything we needed and then some. From the beginning Mark Lewis made sure we had everything we needed and was a phone call away if something came up. Everything went so smooth that we didn't have to call him at all.

We grilled in the private backyard, rode the bicycles (that were in the garage and made available to us) along the Venice & Santa Monica beaches, and spent lots of time on the beach. The kitchen as well as the washer & dryer came in very handy, the comforts of home helped make this a very successful vacation.

The property is steps from Marina Del Rey Beach, which is a very peaceful and clean beach, and not as commercialized as other nearby beaches. We will definitely be back and stay at this property!!
