Beautiful, fully stocked and clean
We enjoyed a few days of peace and quiet at the cabin. It was comfortable, secluded, and furnished appropriately. We don't have any suggestions for improvements as everything was great. We recommend checking on the supplies before you go to the cabin as there is a good chance it is already available. We lucked out and didn't need to buy bear spray or coffee filters since there was already some left there by previous vacationers. The owner was very helpful in suggestions for our trip and quickly responded to questions. We tried the restaurant down the road recommended by the owner (Snow Slip Inn) and had a delicious fried chicken dinner. We wish we could have stayed longer in this paradise.
Beautiful but very remote
Everything is as advertised. And no complaints, but as with everything near Glacier it requires some driving to get to civilization.
This cabin is beautiful and newly remodeled. It is so comfortable. We so enjoyed the gorgeous mountain forest setting. I’d highly recommend!
Enjoyable stay for our visit to Glacier
This property was perfect for our family's needs. There is a bedroom on the main floor and a bed in the upstairs loft, where we put the kids (2 in the bed and 2 on the floor since they all wanted to sleep together) There is a sleeper sofa on the main floor. The bathroom was clean and a good size and the double shower head shower was amazing, though a bit tricky to get kids showered. There is a nice washer and dryer. The kitchen is well stocked. The fridge and cabinets even had some basic foods (flour, oil, salt and pepper, ketchup), which was appreciated. There is no dishwasher. There is a fire pit in the back that we were able to make smores with. We did go buy our own firewood since there wasn't enough. The RV park close by sells firewood. There aren't any close grocery stores (unless you want to pay an arm and a leg). We drove about an hour away to the nearest store in Columbia Falls. We had no cell phone reception here (a good and bad thing). The property is pretty secluded and there is a creek close by. Such a well maintained home and nicely decorated. We loved our stay here!
Spotless and Secluded
Our stay was wonderful. The home is a wonderful size for a family of 4 to 6. It was spotless and secluded. Just what we were looking for. We stayed July 1 through the 5th and were visited by a friendly bear who walked up the back porch stair and peered in through the glass sliding doors. I guess he wanted to try our Huckleberry pie! The cabin is about 20 min from East Glacier and 1.5 hours from West Glacier. The beds were super comfortable and the washer and drier was super convenient. The place is stocked with everything we needed. Highly recommended!!
Nice central, secluded location
This cabin made for a great stay near Glacier. Pretty secluded, but other houses nearby, and right off Hwy 2. Place is clean and updated. No cell service, but was actually nice to disconnect for a few days. No bear or moose sightings, but did have a couple deer walk through in the evening and a rabbit hopping around in the early morning. Would definitely recommend this place
