VERY CUTE, CLEAN garden apartment (on ground floor, no stairs!!!!) is very private, CLEAN ,professionally designed and decorated with NEW COMFORTABLE and stylish furnishings and appliances.

We are continuously updating, replacing, adding to make our little apartment VERY comfortable for our guests. We appreciate our guests and we listen to what they say.

We had a previous guest who advised us that a really comfy chair would be a great addition to the sectional sofa in living room. We purchased a brand new recliner to add even more comfortable seating.

Another guest recommended that another window (to bring in extra light )would be great. Within the week we added a window in our Dutch door. It is perfect!!

We have a GREAT team that does an EXCELLENT job cleaning, managing, and making quick repairs when needed.

My husband and I are very hands on with the maintenance and upkeep on our building.

Our upstairs unit 173237 is really special as well. We LOVE this special little place of ours!

Our cozy little downstairs apartment hideaway offers approx. 650 sq. ft. Of indoor space, another 250 sf of outdoor space offering comfort AND style... GREAT FOR COUPLES, SINGLES...... Small but lovely with a great use of space to insure comfort......

The town offers a friendly atmosphere, great restaurants and outdoor cafes, beautiful scenery, an actual downtown (Del Mar Ave.), and world renowned surf spots!! Old and young love it here and share a bond of pride for our little piece of Paradise! I owned an interior design firm for years in town and my husband is a well known photographer in town. His art is shown here in town, Aspen, Sheraton Carlsbad, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and Disney resorts in Anaheim. He found the ocean and beaches great inspiration for his ocean landscapes. We bought our 1928 building with the idea of just remodeling it and using it for our own use when not traveling. We just learned that it was one of the very first homes built in San Clemente. It has a busy history. I then talked my husband into trying out VRBO to rent while we weren't in town. It took off from there and I found that I love opening up our homes to guests from all over the world. When we travel we want very nice, clean, and safe accommodations that felt like home. So we decided to offer to guests the things that we wanted and required while traveling. I think that we have succeeded......

What makes this apartment unique

Our garden apartment is Modern and clean! It is very unique and peaceful. You feel very safe and sequestered inside it's walls....... Our location is really great being so close to the beach, public transportation, new restaurants, THE NEW BEACH TRAIL, the 1933 CASINO AND OLE HANSON WEDDING VENUE, Ole Hanson public pool, the new 2016 San Clemente Outlets, the trailhead ear walking stairs/ trails. If you chose to skip a car, you could walk pretty much everywhere... We love it's charm. And the fact that it has all brand furnishings and appliances. New and sparkly clean!!!!!!!!!!!! Artistic and Well Stocked

We enjoyed staying in this well stocked and artsy vacation rental. It was close to the beach, a couple blocks to walk and the owners have done everything to make it as comfortable as possible. It was great to have a garage too since parking is a real issue in this town. We were a bit surprised that there was no door between the garage and the little patio area, just a curtain, but, we made it work. A sliding barn style door would work well in place of the curtain. Overall we were happy with our stay and would recommend it to others.

It was awkward so we removed it years ago. We were in a quandary what to put up that would still allow access of large furniture pieces through the opening. You have solved our dilemma. Amazing Hide -a- way!

We had an amazing time in San Clemente. After picking up my daughter from Azusa Pacific University summer class, we had an amazing long weekend in a wonder private get away. We loved the outdoor sitting area (my daughter slept out there all 3 night!) and eating area. It was a warm weekend for the coast, so the air conditioning was a must! Anyone traveling to the area will realize how excited we were to hear there was a garage! The beach was, as promised, 3 minutes away! The restaurant recommendations were great! We loved Ellie's, Fisherman's, and Nick's. Everything was included, even some aloe for a sunburn! We can't wait to book again!

Low Key, Comfortable Digs

This is a bit on the funky side -- but VERY comfortable, quiet, and clean. Small but not cramped feeling.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying here; it had everything I could want and I prefer being in the 'quiet' part of town. I'll be back!

Very please

Excellent location , very clean and equip we all the necessities , kitchen towels and linen and lovely atmosphere , patio with barbecue and beach chairs and more.Walking distance to the beach and eating places.we love it including our 8 year old grandson!!

In regards to the service charge apply from VRBO we are not happy about it especially that that it was not disclose at the time of required charges.

Great beach getaway

Quiet property with easy access to San Clemente trail that leads all the way to the pier. Amazing views of the serene ocean. North beach was a perfect spot for our 3 year old to play and is only a 3 minute walk from the property.

Property was extremely clean. Kitchen has all the amenities to cook meals in as well which is great when you are vacationing on a budget. Owners were prompt to respond to any questions. Highly recommend this rental property!

The Garden Cottage is a cozy retreat after a fun day in San Clemente!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Garden Cottage. It has everything you could possibly need. Walking distance to Ellie's Table for breakfast or a stroll on the beach in the evening. It's in close proximity to all of San Clemente's best restaurants. Nicks and the Cellar were our favorites! If you get a chance, spend a day at Doheny Beach or a day in Laguna Beach and eat at the Skyloft Restaurant, which overlooks Laguna Beach. The "only" regret is....we had to come home!

We have food shopping within a 5 min drive. We have eateries, coffee houses, cafes, bakery, Take out pizza, flower shop, bike rental, car wash, Ole Hanson Historic Pool, train station, sushi, surfboard rentals all within a 1/4 mi or less. Our North Beach has a snack bar, showers, family friendly, restrooms. This is the stRting location of the Beach Trail as well. It will take you along the coastline to the pier and beyond. Easy walk with stunning ocean views!!!!! Bring your camera!!! You may see Dolphins playing in the surf!!!
