Charming vintage log cabin on the east side of Coeur d Alene Lake. Our intimate little cabin is just steps away from the beach and dock. It is perfect for hours of fun in the water and the sun. A large deck overlooking the lake is made for a leisurely breakfast, lunch or the family barbeque at dusk. The main floor includes a living room with river rock fireplace, kitchen and bath. It also has a large screened back porch with extra refrigerator for the vacation beverages.
Upstairs, with a window overlooking the lake is a large bedroom that sleeps 6 to 8 people. It includes one queen bed, one double bed and six single beds. Sleep under the eves and listen to the waves lapping at the beach as you drift to sleep.
Enjoy evenings around the firepit on the beach(when conditions permit), and fun filled days of snorkeling, swimming, and fishing.

I say--kayaking--he says fishing-I say waterskiing-he says midnight swimming-I say outside firepit overlooking the lake--he says a laid back beer overlooking the lake-I say outside dining on the oversized deck--he says just the thought of the lake makes him relax. We both say 'Henry Fonda and Katherine Hepburn - on golden pond'
Vintage, yes, but very nice accommodations. We are a family of five including two teenage boys and we all loved staying here. Highly recommend this and would diffidently return.
My husband and I stayed here with our 3 kids and had such a great time. It's a wonderful vintage cabin but still has the comforts of the modern day world.
There is great sunlight on the beach and deck throughout the day and the beach is great to swim from. My kids had fun taking the kayaks out, jumping off the dock and swimming all day. We went several times to Harrison to ride on the bike trail and get ice cream. I'm bummed we can't get back there this year, I would stay all summer if I could!
My family had an absolutely amazing time here. It is a truly beautiful vintage cabin with breathtaking views of the lake. The owners are fantastic and incredibly helpful. My kids have not stopped talking about how much fun we had and about how much they want to go back. The location is perfect as it is central on the lake with easy boating or driving to several interesting locations. It is also an easy boat ride to Coeur D'Alene for day trips. There is great fishing all over the lake including right out front of the cabin. We booked for next year before we left! Thanks again for the great time - The Great Canadians.
