The home is a historic craftsman bungalow that is located at the exact center of the Flagstaff Universe. The unique floor plan is spacious, airy, and light-filled with three
bedrooms and 2 ½ baths. The home has been renovated without compromising the architectural details of the period. Other interior spaces include a large living room, dining room, sun room, and office. The open kitchen forms the hub of the house and is cook-friendly and well appointed with everything you need to make fabulous meals. The bedrooms have uber-comfortable king, queen, and double sized beds with upgraded linens.
The large tree-filled yard is a perfect place to enjoy outdoor Flagstaff. Relax in a hammock-for-two while viewing the peaks.
The home is located on tree-lined West Cherry Avenue in the heart of downtown. Walk to shopping and many of Flagstaff’s best restaurants and bars. Walk to the Observatory on Mars Hill, Disc Golf in Thorpe Park, or the weekly Farmer’s Market in Wheeler Park. Ride or Walk the Urban Trail – catch it a half a block from the front door.
This is a perfect vacation base camp for visiting Northern Arizona’s attractions -- the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Wupatki, Walnut Canyon, Meteor Crater, Sunset Crater, the San Francisco Peaks, or Snowbowl.

We are native Arizonans who live and work in Tucson and play and relax in Flagstaff.
Owner purchased this House in 2009
Why Owner chose Flagstaff
We picked Flagstaff to enjoy its four seasons and the multitude of outdoor activities it offers. We picked Downtown Flagstaff to give us the opportunity to leave our car behind and walk or bicycle everywhere.
What makes this House unique
We can stroll to great restaurants, fun bars, and unique shops. We are close to great downtown activities – First Friday Art Walk, the Farmer’s Market, and Free Movies in Heritage Square, to name a few. We are a very short walk, run, or ride via the Urban Trail to miles of National Forest. We really are located at the center of the Flagstaff Universe.

Great House! Perfect location, walking distance to town.
This house is a bungalow that was very comfortable. Walking through the door, the layout, size and proportions made it immediately feel like a home we wanted to live in. Located close to town, it allowed us to explore Flagstaff on foot, enjoy local restaurants and over indulge daily in a fresh bagel and morning coffee. (Biff's bagel and Macy's coffee)
Tim and Nancy have done a great job restoring this home. Everything fits and works well together. The home is immaculate. Thank you for all of the little touches that made our stay especially enjoyable. (condiments, paper goods, a great reference library, small travel cooler for day trips, etc.)
We would highly recommend this home as a base if you planning to visit the Flagstaff area.
Thank you Tim and Nancy for a wonderful stay and allowing us to enjoy your home.
Perfect home away from home for our family in sleepy mountain town
Absolutely loved this place. Great location close to downtown shopping and restaurants. Short jaunt into the mountains.
I’ve stayed in a lot of nice properties and usually they are rooms and furniture and not much else. This home literally felt like a home away from home. An older historic feeling home with newer amenities inside. Very nice gas range. Nice TVs with a ton of movies. Puzzles. Books. Games. Gas fireplace. And last but not least, a beautifully refinished main floor bath with some sweet jets on it.
Also had a lot of the little things that made it easy for us—like salt and pepper, coffee filters, shampoo and body wash. That stuff is small but means I’m not driving to target at 9pm the first night to stock up on stuff I will ultimately leave there.
Cozy living room and sun porch. I imagine it’s great in summer as well with a nice backyard. Quiet neighborhood too.
Excellent location for NAU visit. The house was clean and had everything we could have possibly needed.
This house has tons of character. It has a cozy cottage like feel with plenty of space inside and outside. We were a group of 4, one adult and 3 teens. Perfect easy access to skiing and walking to restaurants and shops. The owners have provided games, puzzles, books, toys for little ones and tons of dvd movies. In addition, the kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. We all enjoyed our stay so much and will for sure return again!
Lovely house, perfect location for ski and close to downtown. The house has everything you need.
Perfect location ,convenient for ski and close to downtown. The house has all the amenities you need. The owner very attentive.Love my stay
We recently returned from a (too short) stay in Flagstaff at this wonderful house. I can't say enough about what a great experience we had with Tim, his responsiveness and the comfort of this home. Tim responded to every question I had - and even some I didn't know to ask. The home is extremely well equipped, comfortable (the towels are amazing!) and really really cute. It is in a great location. After a full day of hiking, we returned to the home, parked the car and walked to nearby restaurants. Tim offered suggestions to several great places to eat and we found a few on our own, too. We had really nice weather, sat out back in the adorable back yard and enjoyed the sun in the afternoon. The tulips in the gardens were blooming, and the trees were just starting to bud. We were there at a perfect time! This is one of the best VRBO rental experiences we have had (and we rent through VRBO at least 3 times/year). We left Flagstaff relaxed, well fed and ready to return!
