Isle of Skye is located in Sandpiper Village which is an intimate ocean side community of 26 homes in South Bethany Beach. The home is just 50 steps from the beach access, and is the third house off the ocean. It is very easy and convenient to walk between the beach and the house for meals, breaks, or kid needs. It offers ocean block safety for families as there is no crossing of any major streets with life guarded beach from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Sandpiper Village is one of the least crowded beaches in both Bethany and South Bethany. The house is located within walking distance to the Bethany Boardwalk and restaurants.
The entry level of the house contains the bedrooms. There are 2 master bedroom suites with private bathrooms ... ideal for two families or a family and grandparents. The first master bedroom has a king size bed and the second master bedroom has a queen sized bed. Both of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. There is a third bedroom with a Pyramid bunk bed (full bed on the bottom and a single bed on the top) with a surf motif with a TV and Xbox. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds and TV with a DVD player. There is a separate bathroom for these two bedrooms with a bathtub.
The top level has a Great room with a living room area with a large sectional couch and a 42' LCD HD TV with a home theater system which includes a DVD player. The dining area has a elegant pedestal table which seats 10 comfortably. There is additional seating for 2 at the kitchen island. There is also a library of books available for a variety of tastes for hours of reading at the beach; as well as many types of games for those long lazy summer evenings. Everything is provided for your cooking creations in the beautifully appointed open layout kitchen which is highlighted by stunning marine blue Silestone counter tops. The chef of the family won't miss out on any memories while preparing meals! This floor also has a powder room.
Outside are several porches including a large porch with ocean view, ample patio furniture and a gas grill. There is also a spacious screened-in porch for outdoor dining comfort.
If the beach experience isn't enough, there are tons of activities nearby for all ages including: tax free outlet shopping in Rehoboth 15 miles north, 3 different boardwalks (Ocean City, Rehoboth, and of course our charming, family friendly Bethany Beach boardwalk within walking distance), golf, kayaking, water parks, fishing, movie theaters, ice skating, tennis, road biking, restaurants featuring the famous Maryland Blue crabs and much more ... you will never be bored even on rainy days!

We have been vacationing on the Eastern Shore where most of our family lives for the past 25 years primarily scheduled around the annual family Crabfeast. For many years we rented in a variety of locations in Ocean City. We decided to settle on a dream beach house in Bethany Beach because of the family orientation, extensive activities and quieter environment.
What makes this House unique
We love our home at Sandpiper Village primarily because it is so close to the beach and our beach is very wide and uncrowded compared to many areas of Bethany Beach and South Bethany. Our community only has 26 homes and only 1 entrance from Coastal Highway so the traffic flow is very limited which is excellent for families with younger children. Our home is 50 steps to the beach access.

Just as advertised. House big enough to sleep 9, but can really sleep 12 if you open all the day beds! House was clean and everything worked. I would recommend this house to others and plan to come back.
The Perfect Summer Vacation
We were looking for relief from the summer heat in Charleston, and found it at 5 Seaside Drive. For me it brought back a flood of childhood memories as I spent many a summer at the Delaware/Maryland seashore.
This place was inviting, comfortable and most importantly close to the beach.
Beautiful house in a great location
We had a great family vacation at this beautiful house! The beach access was so handy, especially when we wanted to run home to pick lunches or on the 50th trip to the bathroom with the kids. Sleeping arrangements were perfect. Each couple had a private suite with personal bathroom and the kids had two bedrooms to choose from, each with the potential to sleep all four of them if they wanted to stay together. We had an issue with the water heater breaking on the first full day of our week-long stay and he owners responded very quickly and had it replaced within a few hours. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone with young kids.
We LOVE it here!
This was our 2nd time staying at the Isle of Skye and we wouldn't stay any place else! The home was very clean upon arrival and has everything our large family needs. We do a lot of cooking and grilling and the kitchen is complete with everything we needed. The grill is brand new and we enjoyed cooking out. We enjoyed sunsets out on the deck every evening. We loved playing games and crab night on the large dining table. There were plenty of beach chairs and all 4 of our teenagers love the outdoor shower. We rented bikes and rode into town every morning and most evenings. All of the beds are very comfortable and it is plus having 2 masters. We rented our linens from Gale Force rentals and they were there waiting for us upon arrival. Our favorite restaurant in town is Patsy's. We enjoy ice cream and coffee at Maureen's. There is also Uber service available which we used a few times when we didn't feel like riding our bikes. The owners of the property are very hands-on and always answered our calls/emails right away. To top it off the weather was perfect everyday and we enjoyed a full moon on the beach!
Great property...this was our 5th summer at Isle of Skye
We have enjoyed staying at Isle of Skye for the last 5 summers. It is a well maintained, well stocked property in a great location. It has been the perfect location to return each year to share a week at the beach with 3 generations of our family.

Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay , that are made within 60 days of the arrival date forfeit the full advance payment and security/reservation deposit.
