In the Heart of the Castro District

Stayed here with several colleagues. Location is near many restaurants, shopping and public transportation. Apartment was very clean and well supplied. There is also a washer and dryer inside unit and kitchen was well-equipped. Bedrooms are off the backside, so very quiet for sleeping in the City. Nice stay!

Great location and space

Great location two blocks from Market Street and the Castro district restaurants and shops. Owner immediately took care of a urine puddle at the entry (its the city!) and was responsive to request to leave packed luggage inside for an hour past check-in. Comfortable King beds and nicely furnished. Hardly used kitchen as we ate out but would work well for anyone preparing simple meals or take out. Bathrooms could use another towel hook or two but they were clean with plenty of storage space despite compact size. Car port behind building was secure but only fits a low profile vehicle so be aware if you need to rent an SUV, it will need to be parked on the street. Street parking was not difficult to find, but timing matters. We would return to this space again. Comfortable, quiet and reasonably priced.

Perfect for a comfortable family stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jack's place. Jack was a pleasure to deal with right from the start with his prompt and friendly responses. His check in package is also very thorough. His apartment is spacious, comfortable and very convenient to shops, restaurants and transport. It was just perfect for our family of 4.

Clean, comfortable and well-located

My husband and I along with our two adult children enjoyed our stay at Jack's place in December. Once you get through the nondescript front door with codes and the rather blah hallway to the apartment door, the accommodations are nicely appointed in a current, comfortable decor. The place was clean with plenty of fresh towels, nice linens and all you would need to cook if you so choose. There's a great grocery a block and a half away and its only a few blocks walk to Castro Street with its unique shopping and restaurants. We mostly took Uber around from there with the exception of the Muni whose classic train/bus cars make it a fun experience. Overall, we were very much at home in this Castro apartment and would recommend it to others.

Amazing VRBO in the Castro!

We - 2 female couples - found this Castro apartment to be perfect! It was spotlessly clean, everything worked like a charm, and the beds were SO comfortable. The decor of the apartment is stylishly understated and inviting. The location was perfect for us, both for walking destinations and for driving to more distant locations, and parking on site was a snap. The neighborhood was welcoming and friendly, and most important, very quiet. We enjoyed having coffee and our last glasses of wine in the evening, either seated around the dining table or relaxing in the living room. The bathrooms and bedrooms were well appointed and immaculate. Jack was easy to communicate with and always responded to questions or requests very quickly. We also met Roger on site and he too was very friendly and helpful. In short, this is the very best VRBO any of us have stayed at! Thank you for helping to assure we had a great weekend in San Francisco!
