This home was newly renovated in 2010. This ranch style, 2 bedroom, 2 bath home is well appointed with vintage, antique furniture and glassware, yet has all the modern conveniences. Custom maple cabinets, granite counter tops, and new appliances give the kitchen it's clean & modern look. Red Oak custom cabinets in the master bath/sitting area gives a rich, warmth & comfortable feeling. It's backyard contains flower gardens, a sitting area and a creek that separates it from Baylor's, Floyd Casey Stadium. A large pecan tree graces the front yard in which Cardinals, Doves, Blue Jays and other birds come to feed. The front garden adds charm, warmth and a country feel to the property. About John & Kathy Haley

We have the best of both worlds, a home in Alaska and one in Texas. We love to travel with family as well as get away to a secluded place just to be with each other. Our Waco home is a wonderful place to do both,

John & Kathy Haley purchased this house in 1995

Why John & Kathy Haley chose Waco

We inherited this property from my husbands Father. We so love Waco that we have kept it. Recently, we completely renovated this home, adding AC, new wiring as well as internet and cable connections. Beautifully handcrafted maple cabinets now grace the kitchen. When we finished, we so loved the result, we wanted to be able to spend time there ourselves. We decided to rent it out in a different manner, so we could take advantage of staying there when we visited Texas and share the comfort of our home with others, when we are not able to be there.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Was notified very timely with acceptance of dates needed. Upon stepping though front door was surprised with a delightful home. This house is in a nice neighborhood. Five woman stayed the weekend here and had ample supply of thick, soft towels for showering in the two showere. We had everything we needed in this home. The owners have thought of everything, including extra fans in closet if needed for white noise. The bedding was also extremely nice. All around great home.

A Little Piece Of Heaven On Earth!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at The Haley House was truly amazing. From the time we turned off Valley Mills Drive onto Willowbrook it was breath taking! The street is lined with huge gorgeous trees, beautifully landscaped yards, quaint homes and neighbors who greeted us with kind waves as we made our way down the street. We loved all the nostalgia inside and outside of the home. One of our favorite things to do was sit out in the back yard. Sitting back there provoked so many "I wonder" conversations ... I wonder what it was like having Baylor Stadium literally in your back yard?! I wonder how many times people have had to use that storm shelter?! The Haley Home was so peaceful and relaxing. The house was furnished with everything we needed to enjoy or stay. The location was perfect, we were just minutes from downtown Waco and landmarks. 3200 Willowbrook holds a special place in our hearts!

"The Haley House is Home!"

  • 5 of 5

The Haley House felt like home the minute we walked in. It is very cozy, yet it had everything we needed and was so close to restaurants and other places of interest. The house had been updated for the guests' comfort, but still held to the era when Dad Haley lived there with beautiful family antiques. The neighborhood was quiet and we four women felt very safe. We loved it and we will be going back again in November. I recommend it highly.

Warm & comfy home!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first trip back to Waco in many years and the first time we brought our boys (6 years old and 4 months old). The Haley House was perfect for our family! The house is so warm and inviting and we instantly felt "at home." The house is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware, the beds and linens are very comfortable, the backyard was nice with a little creek and fun outdoor lights strung around, and the house is located close to campus, shopping and dining. Staying at the Haley House was far more enjoyable than staying at any hotel! We plan to return to Waco soon and look forward to another stay at the Haley House!

Charming home in a good neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

The home was exactly as they had stated - but better! Undated bathrooms, kitchen and electronics in old world decor. We even had a family barbecue on their gas grill. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. It was a great place in a convenient location. My parents were in love with it!
