Scuba/Snorkel!: Islamorada, long recognized as the 'Sport Fishing Capital of the World,' is now an icon among sport divers for a similar reason: a massive population of tropical marine life. High profile coral heads and broad ledges shelter huge congregates of French grunt and goat fish, while regal queen angelfish casually graze amid the reef recesses. Friendly green moray eels swim freely along the spur-and-groove channels, and reclusive nurse sharks lurk beneath the overhangs. Islamorada offers a wide variety of shallow coral reefs, mini walls, shipwrecks, and even an underwater habitat for scientific research, the Aquarius. To learn more about Islamorada or any other manner of local lore, stop by the Chamber of Commerce at MM 82.5. --- *The Eagle - This 287 ft. ship was intentionally sunk in 110 ft. of water as a dive attraction, cloaked in sponge & coral, populated by grunt, harpoon & jack. *Davis Reef - Reef revered for its incredible concentration of grunts & schoolmaster snapper...

Guestbook comments from the owner

Coming from the cold Norway, we spent a warm week here. We have been visiting Key West, the Everglades National Park (and the alligator farm) and also a boat trip to the coral reef. Nearby we have been on the beach in the Founder's Park. Thanks for a lovely week here.

The property was fantastic! Clean, well equipped and stocked, and in a good location.

  • 5 of 5

We had a great vacation at the house. The house is on a canal, and is boater friendly. Easy access to both the ocean and bay. The house is spacious, very clean, and has everything you would need inside it. It is a nice, upscale house, finely decorated and has a comfortable feeling to it. Downstairs has covered parking, and a spacious covered area with plenty of furniture for relaxing and entertaining outside. There is also a large open porch off the living room, which overlooks the canal. The neighborhood is quiet, and is close to many restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. I would definitely stay at the house again, and would recommend it for others to stay.

A lovely vacation stay

  • 5 of 5

Loved our vacation stay! This home has everything you need. Clean home, deck for sunny mornings as well as patio below.

Easy access on the canal to the Gulf or Atlantic waters.

The manatee family daily in the canal was a sight to see. We will definately book again!

Love the Florida Keys!

Beautiful Vacation at Casa Linda Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

What a great rental. We have been coming to the Keys for close to 10 years and this is place to stay. The house was very clean and very well stocked. The location is ideal for anyone who loves to get out on the water. The access was easy to get out to either the Bay or the Reefs for diving. The boat dock and canal made it easy to have your boat right outside. The neighborhood was very quiet with friendly people.

The house was extremely comfortable, and the upstairs deck has a great gathering place.

Ena made it really easy during the rental process and during our stay.

Thanks for a wonderful time.

Beautiful Home

  • 4 of 5

A great rental close to everything in Islamorada and Tavenier. Grocery and Pharmacy very convenient. The only way in and up to master are spiral staircases, they are beautiful but a bit of a challenge to load large luggage in and out. The canal is beautiful and very peaceful, boat traffic was very low during our stay in May 2017. We saw manatees, two dolphin and a bull shark.

We had a small group staying there at Casa Linda. The deck was great and saw manatees in the canal!

We would come back again. Ena Jane was very responsive to communications during the stay. The house was centrally located to both Key Largo, Islamorada and Marathon. We took nice walks in the neighborhood each evening and looked at the cool houses there. The Master suite upstairs has a great little office and walk in closet to store all of your belongings. Overall, we plan to come back again!
