416 Ali'i condo was the best! Beautifully furnished and the view is to die for. Did a ton of exploring on the island, driving more that 500 miles, but coming home to this pristine abode each day may have been the highlight. Lanai has the prefect view. Bed is the most comfortable that I have slept in in years. Wood and tile is gorgeous. Will visit again for sure. Spend the the few extra bucks folks, it is well worth it.

Fabulous condo

My wife and I spent 10 days in March 2018 in unit 416. The unit is wonderfully finished, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. Not to mention the extra attention to detail provided by Holly. The weather was lousy but the vacation was still awesome.!

Great 5-day stay - March 2 - 7 2018

We had never done the condo thing before so weren't real sure what to expect, but everything was perfect. The unit is exactly as pictured, the view is better than pictured, and we had absolutely no problems. The instructions from Holly were easy to follow and covered everything, once we got there we never had to contact anyone for anything. If/when we're back to the Big Island we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks Holly!

A window to paradise

We had a wonderful stay. Situated right on the beach, with views of swaying palm trees and crashing waves. Centrally located on Alii Street, so close to swimming and snorkelling beaches and, in the other direction, to Kailua's main shopping strip. The condo is well-supplied for meal preparation and recreational activity. Highly recommended.

Amazing condo with great view!

We stayed at this condo in mid November 2017 for a week. Kona was a great home base to explore the island and the condo was everything described and more. The condo is completely upgraded throughout - great flooring, appliances, shower and washroom, furniture, all kitchen tools, dishes and glassware was exceptional. We could see into other condos in the complex and none matched Holly's so if considering this condo area, I would suggest that is is the best unit in the building by far. Holly has ensured the condo has everything you need for your stay, the condo has soaps, linens and tissue for your stay which was a lovely added touch. The view is fabulous and we spent many mornings watching the turtles eat in the tide pools and toasting the sunset in the evenings. We found the fans and the huge screened in patio was sufficient to keep the condo comfortable while we were there and we didn't miss AC at all. Listening to the ocean at night was fantastic although I needed to shut out the birds singing in the am and wear sunshades (no blinds in the suite) to avoid being up with the sun in the mornings. The building is clean, well kept but dated and as others have noted the elevator and stairways show some wear. The updated pool was open and is nice although small and often shady in the afternoons. The pool as similar rules as other places we have stayed - 9 am-9pm accessibility. I liked to tan and read by the tide pools in the afternoons if we were at the condo and then pop into the pool to cool off from the sun. The staff at the resort are great, very helpful, friendly and spend a lot of time keeping the grounds, BBQs and parking lot clean. The tide pools are fun to explore (many fish, turtles and eels) and there is a small beach next door where you can snorkel or surf depending on the waves. The condo is far enough from the tourist area to be quiet and the building is very quiet, you will need to drive to beaches or restaurants. There is a great local place -De Poke Shack in the building as well as Millers Surf which rents snorkel/surfing stuff - the staff are great and will help you find places to explore as your experience level allows. If we were back in the Kona area, we would absolutely stay at Holly's beautiful condo again and would recommend it to any couple looking for a fantastic place to stay while exploring the island. Thanks again Holly for sharing your space and for being so welcoming and helpful while we were in Kona.
