This clean comfortable 2 bedroom/ 2 bath redecorated condo is in beautiful Coachella Valley. It's on the prettiest drive in Palm Spgs- Farrell Dr; between Mesquite Ave & Ramon Rd. It's lined with Palm trees and flanked by the golf course with panoramic views of the Mtn range. It's on a quiet cul-de-sac next to a bubbling fountain. It's conveniently located next to the swimming pool. It's a ground floor end unit, very private and has unobstructed views of the mountains.

It is tastefully decorated in an upscale Western Rustico flair with

cowboys/ rooster collection/ sunflowers and a few fun antiques. Hence, the Colorado owners have named it Remington Ridge. AKA: R & R- Rest and Relaxation! The extra windows give the unit an added bright sunny feel.

So afford yourself some R & R, while at 'Home on the Range.'

You will appreciate the new furniture, furnishings, carpet, window coverings, bedding, linens, and much more. The decorator warm harvest colors throughout are inviting and soothing. Relax in the living room in the overstuffed La-z-boy recliner while watching the NEW 42' INTERNET HDTV, with BLU-RAY PLAYER. There is a queen sofa-sleeper and a desk with free High Speed wireless Internet. The master bedroom has an expensive top-of-the-line pillow top/memory foam King bed, a wall mounted 26' flat screen TV/DVD and a full bath. The beds are made and 6 sets of towels are out, plus pool towels. A blow dryer is provided. The condo could be described as 'attention to detail.' It's updated and new inventory added each year.

The guest bedroom has a queen size pillow top bed, 26' TV/ DVD and a small private deck with vintage yellow metal table and 2 chairs. There is a full bath in the hallway. The kitchen is tiled, has plenty of cupboard and countertop space and is fully/ well-equipped. There are new kitchen appliances. The dining room, also tiled, is bright, open and spacious. The table seats 4, but there are extra chairs. The windows and decks ensure grand views of the mountains. The large deck can be accessed via the living room or master bedroom

This deck is secured by a wrought iron enclosure; one of a few grandfathered-in by the Mesquite CC HOA. It looks out to the pool and the grassy courtyard. It has a classy six person rectangular patio set and a large stainless steel gas grill. The laundry room is on this patio and has a full size washer and dryer. This unit is located in the background in the pool photo. All pools have lounge chairs and patio tables. At the perimeter of the condo, is a wonderful walking path around the golf course. We have provided 2 bikes and 3 tennis rackets. This Phase has 3 tennis courts. This complex has mature well maintained landscaping and is a gated community. We are a SHOES OFF UNIT. We also provide slippers : )

A nice unit but not for late risers

This was my fourth stay at East mesquite condo and the first time in phase two located off Farrell. This unit G41 is very comfortable and has a nice vacation and cheerful feeling. The bed in the guest bedroom is very comfortable, it has a medium soft feel with a Costco foam mattress topper which i strongly recommend you buy if you are ever renting a unit with a too firm mattress as this will help a lot. It is the best mattress topper I've seen. If the bed is too soft you can always remove the mattress topper, the mattress itself is a firm spring one.The mattress in the master bedroom is a very soft one. I didn't check to see if there was a topper. I enjoyed having carpet in the bedrooms as i don't sleep well in a tiled room.The dining area faces the pool and has a lot of sunlight in the afternoon. The guest bedroom faces the parking lot and the living room and master bedroom face a lawn and another building (a two floor building). In the summer there isn't much air on the patio and it's way too hot to sit there but there are two swimming pools near the condo and one has shade and it's nice to sit there. Depending on where you are at East Mesquite in the summer there are condos where you can sit on the patio, others not, it all depends on the air drafts. I split my stay in two and tried a different unit in another phase and regretted this unit. The one I was in later which was also a downstairs unit had more air on the patio but was too dark for my liking and didn't have the vacation atmosphere that Remington has. Most downstairs unit at east Mesquite are pretty dark, those that aren't usually have a room facing West which is the case of Remington. The only thing which was unpleasant for me is that i couldn't sleep late in the morning as there were gardeners coming every week day as of 8 in the morning to mow, trim, blow leaves, etc. In the other phase that I was in later there was almost no gardeners ever and when they came it was usually in the afternoon. In phase two they spend a lot of time gardening. The other thing that bothered me but only for a week is when there were neighbours upstairs as you can hear everything since they don't have carpet. In the other unit that I was in the people upstairs had carpet and I heard almost nothing. So be aware of that if you like to sleep late. In the summer it is warmer in an upstairs unit but you won't hear people upstairs. Just for info the unit upstairs is occupied roughly between Feb and July

Comfortable Condo

My husband, mother-in-law and myself stayed in this 2 bedroom condo while we were looking for a place for his mom. It was very close to the pool and spa and parking was covered and real close to the condo which really was a plus with 107 degree heat! We enjoyed all the personal touches and the fantastic views! Also very quiet and we could actually see stars at night from the pool. Overall a great experience and we hope to return soon.

Great Location TERRIBLE Costumer Service!!

We spent a holiday vacation here in Dec. 2015. We have rented hundreds of homes all over the world and we would NOT consider ever re-renting from these owners.

Pros: Location (convenient to everything), very nice pools, Excellent gated condo community, everything worked (stove, oven, DW, microwave, furnace, TV etc...)

Cons: LOTS of clutter and LOTS of personal effects, personal photos are wonderful but not many people want to rent a unit with many dozen of personal photos everywhere. There were a LOT of personal messages with an over abundance of rules with "fines" attached.

This unit owners was unwelcoming and focused on rules and threats of "fines".

Our last Palm Springs rental was a welcome bottle of wine and cheese/crackers this rental was the exact opposite.

Owner's Response: It is disconcerting when we receive a negative vibe. We have been successfully doing this in Palm Springs for the last 17 yrs, with a resounding abundance of contentment and praise, which oft times is not posted here. We have a staggering list of repeat customers to which we own our gratitude. These gracious and respectful clientele use our condo more than we do. This woman was rude from the get go. As I attempted to check her in, she said, she "didn't want to listen". Unbelievable!! Even though I was taken aback, I asked her kindly, to please listen. Her icy dead silence was palpable. Hence, it became my fault- to not be welcoming. This is our second home, in the desert, that we joyfully and unselfishly share with others. We do have personal photos and personal effects. We have never received a negative comment to their nature. As attested in our 17 yr log in the guestbook. Most guests have remarked that they love the 'Colorado western' flair/ decor. This is why we arrived at the name, Remington Ridge. We do post notes and messages: where the water shutoff is, info on how to assist indoors with the intense sun, parking, bikes, pool towels, gas grill, etc. Most find this useful and helpful. Yes, some find it unnecessary because they are responsible in nature. Through experience, we do not know if we are dealing with the upper echelon, middle class, or bottom of the barrel. We are sorry, but we would not re-rent to these guests either. We hope that you will enjoy this quiet ground floor end unit, 2Br 2 ba with great mtn views next to the pool.

Golf Trip

A great location. Within a short drive of downtown Palm Springs, as well as many of the beautiful golf courses in the PS area. Everyday the spa and pool were wonderful afternoon therapy for our 6 days of golf. The furnishings were clean and very comfortable. I would certainly stay here again.

A little paradise between he Palms !

If you want to spent a great vacation in Palm springs, don't look any further. This is the place to be. A wonderfull place nice situated just a footstep away from the pool in a quiet enviroment. a nice patio with bbqgrill and two bikes at your disposal ! We would spent there our holiday for two weeks but extended it for two more! Downtown is nearby and also all the routes to see the surroundings. Thanks Mike and Amy. Ronald and Linda from Belgum

ANOTHER WONDERFUL STAY AT THE REMINGTON RIDGE

My wife and I have just returned from our 2014 Palm Springs vacation stay at the Remington Ridge located in the Mesquite Country Club. This was our fourth occupancy of this condo and it DOES live up to its' listing! It is OUR home away from home with like décor and all. The owners do a lot to keep the condo up to date with newer furnishings and everything else one would need while away from home (the kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals). The pool is practically outside the door. Parking space is close by- no long haul for groceries and shopping. The gated Country Club and enclosed patio gives a sense of added security. We are booked for another two weeks in Spring 2015!!
