About Tiffany Platt

I spent most of my adult life in New York City, where my husband and I planned to settle down. We purchased our log cabin to unwind from busy city life. Less than a year after the purchase, my husband's career brought us out west to California, where we currently live with our two daughters. We don't get to visit Narrowsburg too often anymore, but we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Tiffany Platt purchased this cabin in 2010

Why Tiffany Platt chose Catskills

Being huge fans of 1960's music and culture, we first visited the area to see Bethel Woods (the location of the 1969 Woodstock Festival). When we arrived, we fell in love with the area and were amazed at how peaceful and secluded we felt just 2 hours away from the city.

What makes this cabin unique

Nestled on 17 acres of wooded property, you will feel completely secluded when you visit our cabin. Let your mind, body and soul relax as you sit on the back porch while listening to the sound of the babbling brook. If it gets too chilly, light a fire in the fire pit or soak in the hot tub. If it's too hot, take a dip in the private pond. Or just sit in the gazebo and take in all that nature has to offer.

Such a fun house and sweet owners!

  • 5 of 5

The house is great but we spent most of our time outside. The deck and hot tub was wonderful and our family had an absolute blast in the pond. The owners were so nice and quick to respond. Hope to back again next summer!

Perfect Getaway

  • 5 of 5

My family enjoyed this cabin this past weekend. We were four adults and three teenagers.

The house is clean and comfortable. There are plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, and pillows available. In addition to the beds, there are two comfortable fold out beds available. There is cable tv, dvds, games and books available for use. A coffee pot and coffee are available for use. There is also wifi. Depending on your carrier, your cell phones will have spotty service, but there is a landline.

There is a hot-tub, hammock, grill, wood-pit, horse shoe pit, and a babbling brook - that wasn't babbling when we were there - I guess not enough rain?

We stayed 3 nights - you will want to stay longer. The property is beautiful and secluded, yet only a 10-minute drive to a market and a cute downtown (a very trendy, up and coming town!).

The best part of this house is the little lake. It is perfect. The right size, two swim docks, lights for nighttime dips. It is remarkable clean - it has bubblers and is treated. There is also a shed with toys for the pond. All along the edge were the cutest frogs and tadpoles!

Perfect Getaway

  • 5 of 5

My Husband and I rented this house for a long weekend getaway with a few friends and our 10 month old son. We all had an amazing time and couldn't believe how much more beautiful this spot was then even the photos lead you to believe. The pond is wonderful and the house is spacious with a wonderful deck. We would absolutely come back. Thanks Tiffany!

Seclusion at its finest

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed this cabin for four nights and we're incredibly pleased that we did. The cabin was very comfortable, but we spent most of our time on the decks, around the fire pit, in the hot tub, and by the pond. I cannot recommend this location enough for those lookin for peace and seclusion away from the city.
