Our condo is located in Gatlinburg Towers, just 4 blocks from red light #6. This is a small family type complex with only 43 units. There is a heated pool and a hot tub. The condo has a fully furnished kitchen to cook your favorite meal. There is a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. There are plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc. Each bedroom has a full bath. The living room has a gas fireplace with an automatic timer (one turn of the knob automatically lights the fire), new sofa/sleeper, a high back chair, rocker, recliner and a flat screen TV with a built-in DVD. There is a balcony that provides a beautiful view of the mountains and downtown Gatlinburg. There are luggage carts and an elevator to make it easy to carry your luggage to the unit. One of the best things is the proximity to downtown. If you like to go out for breakfast, it is only a 5-10 minute walk to an excellent pancake house. You don't have to worry about finding a parking place and paying $8 or more to park for the day. You can park in our parking lot and walk to downtown in a few minutes.

About The Owner

I grew up in Maryville which is about 30 miles from Gatlinburg. I have always loved the mountains and enjoy visiting often. We now live in Chattanooga which is only 140 miles away, so we can visit Gatlinburg often. We have 5 children and 10 grandchildren and they really enjoy staying at the condo.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2009

What makes this condo unique

We like the location best of all. It is close to downtown, yet it provides a beautiful view of the mountains and downtown. It is an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and entertainment (e.g. aquarium, museums, golf, etc.). The condo is very comfortable and can easily accommodate 6 people. There is a flat screen TV with a DVD player.

Utmost Convenience and Family Accommodations

First of all, Mr. Armstrong is a very personable owner who genuinely cares about his renters enjoying their experience. He politely checks up on you to make sure your needs are being met, had everything there that we expected, etc.

The location of this unit is PRIME - if someone is interested in hitting all of the tourism of Gatlinburg, it is just a short walk away = CONVENIENCE to say the least. While being located at an extremely grate locale, if you want to bypass the hustle of the city, there are convenient back roads to minimize your travel to other events.

Staying with Mr. Armstrong and in his unit is definitely something we will be doing again in the future. Thank you!

Amazing place. Very close to Gatlinburg

My son and I came down for the weekend and this place was perfect. About a 10 minute walk to downtown gatlinburg, a nice patio to view the mountains and plenty of space. There was some construction going on on the building, but the owner did tell us about it before we booked. It really wasn’t that noticeable. The room itself was a lot bigger then expected. The photos do not show how big the room really is. We had a blast and look forward to returning.

Nice location.

When booking this condo, our top priorities were location, price, and comfort. The condo has two beds and two baths which made it nice for our girls get away. One bathroom did not have a sink/vanity due to current repairs that we were made aware of in advance. We had breakfast and supper in the condo each day and although the kitchen is small, it had everything we needed.

There is ongoing construction of new townhouses in the front of the condo and there was stucco work being done on our floor at the back of the condo which is out of Jim's control but it does weigh in on our overall experience.

The condo is two short blocks to the downtown area which made it very convenient to walk back and forth.

I would stay here again.

Nice Place

over all, not a bad place to stay. Was a little bit of a walk to the strip, and had to drive, and pay to park. Parking was not the best, very tight area for bigger trucks. They did have some construction going on. Condo was nice, only problem was one of the bathrooms had the wall and sink took out and we were not told this until a few days prior to us coming to the unit. James did call us to make sure we got checked in and everything was good. all in all, we did`nt spend much time in the room but it was good. Thanks James for letting us stay in your unit.

Owner's Response: I appreciate the comments from our guest. It is 4 blocks to the main street through downtown Gatlinburg. My wife (75) and I (73) walk it every time we go to Gatlinburg. There is renovation going on as a result of the wild fire last November. We are doing the best we can to make our guests comfortable and enjoy their stay. This is a difficult time for us homeowners. Our bills continue to come due (electricity, insurance, wifi. monthly assessments, etc. I explained to the guest about the vanity that had been removed and offered to let him cancel his stay but he declined. I always try to assure my guests do not have an negative experiences.

Property is extremely well kept. Very comfortable stay. Enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. People that live in the building were really friendly and welcoming. Would recommend staying there. Would rent it again.

There is a $50 cleaning fee that I ask the guest to leave in cash on the kitchen counter. A security deposit of $200 is required to reserve the condo. This is fully refundable after you check out and the housekeeper confirms everything is o.k. in the condo.

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
