Why The Owner chose Breckenridge

We came to Breckenridge 25 years ago for our honeymoon, and loved it. Our dream has always been to have a home in Breckenridge. We love the location of our home because we have privacy, yet live so close to the town and all it has to offer. We love to be here, both during the ski season and all summer long.

What makes this house unique

We LOVE the summers here, there is so much to do. We love to go to Lake Dillon, rent a boat for the afternoon, listen to one of the many concerts, and enjoy dinner outside on the sidewalks of Breckenridge. We also love to just stay at home, throw something on the grill, and relax, then end the evening in the hot tub. Of course the winters are the best, we just roll out of bed and hit the slopes. The skiing in Breckenridge is amazing. We have all ranges of skiers in the house, everyone is able to ski here. We usually end up cooking dinner at the house, we are tired, and there is no place like home! We watch a movie, shoot some pool, or get out the board games.

Beautiful home - 10 minute drive to slopes

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this house with 12 people. Excellent property in a beautiful, relatively secluded neighborhood. It was only a 5-10 minute drive to the slopes and there was plenty of room for parking. Would definitely stay again.

Family Reunion Headquarters Perfect House - All We Needed

  • 5 of 5

This house was ideal for our coast to coast family reunion. We had 3 generations all living in the same house for a week and we climbed mountains, rode bikes along the beautiful bike trail in Breckenridge and scaled cliffs. The house has many beds and the "bunkhouse" over the garage is where all the singles slept. The Hot Tub in the enclosed room to end the day was perfect. The owners were great to work with and if I need another exhausting mountain climbing vacation with 15 people...I wouldn't hesitate to call the owners again.

Beautiful Home in a Wonderful Location

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at this home during our mini family reunion over the holiday. The home was immaculate and large enough for everyone to have some space. The pool table and hot tub provided great entertainment for adults and children, along with movies and gaming system. The kitchen is absolutely amazing. Not only does it have wonderful appliances, it is very well stocked. There was also a huge pantry area for us to put our food in. The sleeping areas in this home are nice and spread out throughout the three floors so you don't feel like you are stepping on anyone's toes. The rental definitely felt like home with all the amenities (too many to name here).

The owners were also wonderful to work with. They answered all questions and answered them promptly (and there were many from my family). They also were very prompt in returning our deposit. The rental contract was concise and easy to read. This home also had one of the easiest check-in/check-out procedures of all the homes we have rented through VRBO. And when we accidentally left a cherished family photo at the home, they were more than happy to assist in getting it returned to us.

We enjoyed the deck and the view and the grassy area outdoors. We also enjoyed taking trips to Breck and Silverthorne and Dillon. It truly is a great location.

The only very minute drawback to the home was the lack of window coverings in two sleeping areas. The bunkhouse was light and bright in the mornings, and for a 5-year-old in the summertime, that means get up, but then again, 5-year-olds tend to get up early anyway. And in the basement, if you want to use the pull-out couch, there are also no window coverings surrounding you. Certainly, no one complained about the lack of coverings; it was just an observation on my part. My guess is that this isn't much of an issue in the wintertime though.

Overall, we would love to stay at this property again and have already begun talking to family about another reunion here next summer. I highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed.

Huge house perfect for multiple families!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here with 17 people (4 families) while we skied and it was wonderful. We found there was plenty of space to spread out. It is beautifully maintained and is exactly the way the owners described it. The owners were prompt in answering any questions we had. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this house.

Wonderful place for Friends and Family

  • 5 of 5

I have been renting homes once a year around summit county for 12 years. This home had one of the best layouts for our needs and has wonderful amenities. The kitchen is stocked with not just cooking equipment, but some basic ingredients. There was an offer by their bookshelf to take unfinished books home and return them when you are finished. They made sure to make available a crib/bassinet for our newborn baby who make her first trip to the mountains. The owners were very personable in every interaction I had with them. I plan on staying here again next year.
