We fell in love with Newport and the point area, and carefully renovated this home to meet our taste and need for modern comforts. We love the fact that we can bike or walk almost anywhere, and have quick access to the water and peaceful parks and beaches. We also spend a lot of time enjoying the back yard and garden.

What makes this house unique

We love the combination of being walking distance to town but in a charming, peaceful neighborhood. Our home is free of clutter and designed for easy family meals and relaxation, with an easy transition between indoors and outdoors.

Family of Four - extended stay

We had the privilege of spending three months in this lovely home and based on our wonderful experience we highly recommend booking this home to anyone looking to stay in Newport. The house is absolutely charming - recently and completely renovated with all modern conveniences but yet maintains its historical roots. The house is fully stocked with linens, all necessary kitchen utensils, small appliances, pots and pans, etc, and the owners even have wooden blocks, markers/paper, and serving ware for children. Beds were all very comfortable, house was spotless upon arrival, yard is large with lots of room to spread out, and the house is in a perfect location…5 minute walk to downtown, less than 5 minute walk to the water, but yet it’s a very quiet location so you don’t feel like you’re located in the hustle and bustle of the city. The owners are absolutely wonderful - quick to respond, very organized, and truly set us up for success during our stay. We have stayed in many VRBO homes over the years in the US and abroad, and our stay in Newport was fantastic thanks to this terrific home and the wonderful owners.

Beautiful home in Newport

We spent a truly wonderful 2 weeks in this charming Newport house with our young family (3 children under 7). The property was ideally situated on the edge of town, a short stroll (5 minutes) into the centre of Newport, where we had a great choice of restaurants & cafes. The house itself was newly renovated and beautifully maintained, with the large back garden being a real bonus for us. The owners were extremely helpful to us in ensuring that our holiday was everything we expected it to be and made themselves contactable throughout our stay. We enjoyed cycling around Ocean Drive and found Gooseberry Beach particularly good for small kids. We have treasured memoried of this vacation, in no small part due to the fact that we chose a perfect place to stay!

Would definitely visit again!

We have been vacationing in Newport for several years, and this was one of our best visits yet! Between the beautiful yard, spacious kitchen, laundry, and proximity to sites and attractions, the house was perfect for our family (two adults and a toddler). In addition, the house has been beautifully renovated and is tastefully decorated. Thanks again for your hospitality; we look forward to our next visit!
