All the amenities of home in this professionally decorated, full ocean front corner unit. Condo features a master bedroom suite with king bed, walk-in closet and full bathroom, twin beds and walk-in closet in the guest bedroom and the option to use an inflatable queen bed with temperpedic pad. Wireless Internet and cable TV, in unit washer/dryer, granite counter tops, fully equipped kitchen, oceanfront balcony with zero gravity recliners and dining area, windows in every room, beach toys and equipment (including a beach cart, and cooler), bathrobes and tennis rackets are just a few of the amenities which set our 'home away from home' condo apart from the others.

This is a wrap around south end unit which is larger than most rental units in the Sea Winds building and has windows in all 4 directions for wonderful views, sea breezes and natural light. It also has 2 full bathrooms (many units in the Sea Winds have only 1 1/2 bathrooms.)

The Sea Winds building features a heated pool, hot tub, tennis courts and beach access and is located at the southern end of the island within easy walking distance to restaurants, movie theater and shopping. Beach activities, including jet ski rentals, parasailing, and sailboat rentals are a short walk down the beautiful white sand beach.

Why The Owner chose Florida South West

Marco Island is a unique, beautiful island community. After vacationing here, we purchased a full time home as well as this condo which we use when it is not rented out. The Marco Island beach is wide, long and gorgeous.

Great Place for a Vacation

This condo was a great introduction to Marco Island for our first trip there. This end unit condo has a great, oceanfront balcony with beautiful views, especially during sunsets. The condo was very clean, and had everything we needed, including beach towels, beach toys, and hair dryers. Lots of activities to do on the beach. We recommend the guided waverunner tour through Marco Island Water Sports. We would definitely recommend this condo.

Everything We Wanted and More!

This was our 6th trip to Marco Island and by far this was the best place we've stayed. We stayed in the Sea Winds last year too but on the 16th floor. The view from this unit was better. The unit was equipped with everything we could possibly want. The only negative was for 3 days in a row they were tearing up tile in the halls below us which sounded like it was right outside our door. I realize improvements need to be made but you think they would start this a little later knowing people were on vacation and we all like to sleep in.

I hope we can again go back and that this unit is available when we do. I'm not sure I could stay anywhere else now!

Fantastic Vacation!!

This was my family's third stay at a HomeAway property, and is our favorite by far. We had previously stayed at the same building, but in a different unit, so we knew the overall property already. However, this condo unit was in perfect shape ... and for a very similar cost!

Upon entering the unit, we immediately noticed that it was very clean and even smelled clean. Everything worked (we had a leaky washing machine issue last year in a different unit). The bed was very comfortable (with really nice sheets as well). There were bathrobes in the master bedroom to use ... simple, but a very nice touch!! There were TVs in both bedrooms and in the main room, and DVD players in all. I personally liked that there were very detailed instructions on how to work them.

The outside deck had very nice and comfortable reclining chairs, and the view was right over the beach. Also, there were books, games and DVDs for use, which we did take advantage of.

They even had a couple of umbrellas in the unit, which came in handy since one evening it did rain. There were plenty of blankets, towels (!!!!), and the washer/dryer and dishwasher worked flawlessly.

The pool is big and never crowded (though it was closed for one day - no big deal). The beach is not overly crowded either. Plenty of shells EVERYWHERE, and we even waded out and found some sand dollars!

(Side note - restaurants on Marco Island range from poor to okay, especially if you have small kids (and we have a 3-year old). Again, this is our second trip here, and we have yet to find a restaurant that we really liked. Our favorite actually is Joey's Pizza, mostly because of their salads).

I was hesitant to post this review, because I am afraid that everyone will realize what a great property it is, and it won't be available for our next visit! However, next time we plan on heading to Marco Island, this property is the first we will try to book.

Marco Island is a beautiful, relaxed island with fabulous beaches for swimming, shelling, sunbathing and water sports. The surrounding waters have great fishing, both off shore and backwater. The island also has excellent restaurants.
