(Alojamento Local 15458/AL)
This city centre modern apartment is set in a recently rebuilt building in old historic Lisbon. Daylight-filled and bright, fifth floor apartment is located in Luis de Camões Square, in a building with 2 elevators. This is one of the most important squares dedicated to the Portuguese Prince of the poetry, with the statue in the centre which was erected in 1867 and has a privilege situation in the heart of the cultural and historical part of the city (Chiado).

Very close to several museums, operas, theaters, and churches. A 5 minute walk takes you to the Rossio, in the Baixa, and to the Elevador da Lavra. On the other direction you will reach the Praça do Comércio, where has located the centre of the Portuguese old empire near the river Tejo (Tagus).
Lisbon Sightseeing - It operates both open-top bus tours and trams (right in front of the buildings door). Bus trips are the 'Circuito Tejo', which goes out to Belém as well as other parts of the city, or the (Expresso Oriente' which visits the Parque das Nações. The tram 28 does the 'Circuito das Colinas' (Hill Circuit) which embraces the 28 route through Graça, Alfama, Chiado, Bairro Alto, Estrela and Campo de Ourique.
Trams also operate a Circuito dos Descobrimentos to Belém.
Close to shops, restaurants, cafes, banks, cash machine, public transportations (trains, subway and electric trams) and 24 hour taxi stands, etc.

Chiado is considered the most beautiful area of historical Lisbon. It was a place of residence of the Portuguese royalty and of the political and cultural elites. Nearby are located the theatre S. Luis and D. Maria II as well as the opera D. Carlos.
Camões Square (Praça de Camões) is next to Bairro Alto, picturesque but raffish; part of Lisbon's nightlife seems to be concentrated in this quarter, which was frequented to hear the sentimental 'fado' song in certain restaurants and cafés. Chiado and Bairro Alto are 'the' meeting point for locals and tourists, with elegant hotels, old cafés, and the best international fashion shops nearby.
