Now is your chance to escape from the city and get to this mountain getaway located along the Bow River wilderness corridor in the Canadian Rockies. You are out of town yet within minutes of some fantastic golf courses, hiking, mountain biking, cross country and downhill skiing, sight seeing, ice and fly fishing, boating, the Stoney Nakoda Casino, entertainment, some great restaurants, Calaway theme park and some unique shopping (Banff, Canmore and Calgary). Explore Chateau Lake Louise and Banff from here or just relax at the hot tub or on the deck.

The resort is situation near the Bow River and adjacent to Three Sisters Campground in Dead Mans Flats, Alberta. You are a 5 minute drive East of Canmore. The Bow River is a 5 minute walk away. Grizzly and Black Bear, Cougars, Deer, Mountain Sheep, Elk, Coyotes and Fox all have been observed travelling/feeding along the Upper Pigeon Mountain Ridge and follow Pigeon Creek which feeds into to the Bow River.

About The Owner

My husband and I love the mountains. There is something about getting away from town and this setting is perfect for us. We love to be active and there is so much to do in this area, regardless the time of year. In the summer we love to hike, golf and mountain bike in the area.....Winters its cross country skiing. Canmore also has a host of things going on all the time so we like to be there for the Celtic games and the folk festival, sometimes there is great entertainment at the nearby casino or the Drake pub. Our grandsons love it there as well, so we try to bring the family out as much as we can. Great memories are forged on each visit to the mountains. Dwain and Cheryl, Edmonton, Alberta

Why The Owner chose Alberta

There are so many things to do and see in this area. Everyone knows Banff which is only a 20 minute drive down the road but there is tons to see and do around this area. The 1988 winter olympic cross country facility at the Canmore Nordic Center is a great place to go in winter or try the world class downhill ski tracks at Lake Louise, Sunshine, Mt Norquay. Boat tours of Lake Minnewanka, Helitours at the Stoney Nakoda Casino or Horseback riding at Brewsters. There is world class golf courses at Banff Springs, Stewart Creek, Silvertip and Kananaskis. White water rafting and hiking is available everywhere including right from the condo. The Bow River is known world wide for some of the best trout fishing and it is a short walk from the door.

What makes this condo unique

We decided to purchase a property that was close to but not in town. One of our favorite things to do is book an adjacent campsite at Three Sisters along the Bow River and sit around the campfire....and then walk back to our condo when we run out of wood.

Ski waxing area available in parkade area, small fitness center with TV, spin bike, treadmill, weights, mats and elliptical trainer, adjacent games room with 5 X 10 pay as you go pool table. 5 min walk to campsite and Bow River, adjacent Husky recommended for breakfasts. TransCanada Highway hiking trail leads east to Canmore or take day long trails from unit over the ridge to Kananaskis.

It is a Great Mountain Getaway!

This condo unit was everything I had hoped for and more. My 3 brothers and I stayed here for 4 nights in early November. This unit has 4 separate sleeping areas which was important for a good night's rest since we are all snorers! The complex is very well cared for and all the amenities, auch as the hot tub, bbq's and exercise room were in good shape. The underground parking is also a nice feature.

The condo unit itself was clean, roomy and very well equipped. Owner Dwain supplied comprehensive instructions for the different lock codes and WiFi. He readily responded to any inquiry that I had regarding the rental.

The location of the complex is just off the Trans Canada and is only a short drive away from Canmore. It made a great jumping off point for sightseeing in the Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise corridor.

Camore - May long weekend

Overall the condo, host, and area were great. The condo was clean, well kept, and full of things to do. It was exactly as described and was perfect for our two families. The host was accomodating and prompt, absolutely no complaints. I recommend this condo and host.

Girls weekend

Girls and I just got back from an amazing weekend. Dwain was very responsive anytime we needed anything goes prior to the trip. The condo is well equipped and decent amount of room. Only a few minutes away from canmore and has nice trails close by. Thanks for a great weekend!!

The condo is ideally suited for 6 adults but can accommodate 8 for sleeping if necessary.
