There is a washer and dryer in the second bathroom. The Master Bedroom has a dressing room/office attached. The second bedroom has unique cantilevered bunk beds, a pull out trundle bed, and a workstation. All the furnishings are new and attractive. The outdoor patio/terrace is a great spot for relaxing, reading, and enjoying the sunset. The neighborhood is quiet, and without a doubt...the best!

Sam and I have a special love for Jerusalem. We lived in the German Colony prior moving to London. Our dream was to own a home in Jerusalem, so our children can experience our ancient Homeland. When we saw this special apartment in the German Colony, we knew instantly, that it was the perfect Holiday-Vacation home. We look forward to our visits, knowing we are coming to our beautiful Jerusalem home. It was designed with much love and attention to detail. We hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we do!

We chose this property in the German Colony, because it is a unique and beautiful building.Though Anglo's live in the neighborhood, it is also populated with many Israelis. The flavor of the neighborhood is diverse and entertaining. Emek Refaim Street is an upscale area filled with great KOSHER restaurants, chic shops, cafe's, artisan boutiques, a large pool, day-spa, gym, live theater, Indie cinema, parks/playground and many Synagogues. The locals are friendly and welcome tourists. We feel blessed to own this beautiful Holiday-Vacation property...our home away from home.

What makes this apartment unique

Fully equipped KOSHER KITCHEN! The apartment is a a few minutes walk to Emek Refaim Street and The First Station. We can walk to the Old City/ Kotel in 25 minutes. Everything one needs while on vacation or holiday is close at hand. The apartment is spacious and full of light. All the amenities are of the highest standard and the apt. is fully equipped. The outside patio/courtyard is wonderful for relaxing, reading and watching the sunset. We are a few minutes walk to restaurants, outdoor cafe's, shops, Synagogues, food markets, cinema, historic sites, parks, etc...And, it is a very quiet neighborhood.

My new home away from home

This beautifully decorated and meticulously clean flat in Jerusalem's most desirable and serene area is my new home away from home. I enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen and reading my book on the flat's quaint porch. Waking up in the morning to the views of the Jerusalem Hills and hearing the bird's chirp at sunrise, made me almost want to never leave and see the city! If you are looking for European luxury in the Holy Land, than this flat is for you. Highly recommend!

Oasis in Jerusalem

We stayed in this beautiful apartment for two weeks in July 2015 and found it to be a lovely oasis from the Jerusalem summer heat and conveniently located for all our needs. We did not have a car and felt no lack of it. We enjoyed walking in the German Colony, Baka, Talpiot, and finding easy taxis or buses to other parts of town and beyond. The apartment is spacious and clean, and furnished with elegant simplicity. We were very comfortable there. The owners, the Rubins, and the manager, Shirley, were extremely generous,kind, and helpful before, during, and after our stay. This is a place you can feel at home in. We hope to rent this apartment again for a future visit to Israel.

Wonderful Apartment, Excellent Location

This apartment was both almost perfectly equipped and wonderfully managed. Often you find that there are 6 plates and 5 glasses because over they years there has been breakage. The kitchen was completely equipped with more dishes/cutlery/glasses than you would need.

The only thing missing was some clothes pins so that we could air dry some swim towels and Shirley the on-site property manager had us some the next day (after having offered her own outdoor drying stand for our use). She was an invaluable resource for information on the neighborhood.

The beds were comfortable as was the living room and eating area. Internet was reliable and due to the incredible weather, we turned on the air conditioning all of once for about 50 minutes after returning home from a hot day of touring.

The Emek Refaim area is lively and "First Station" is an easy walk and had many live concerts at night. This is an excellent location and the city pool is about a 5 minute walk, which we used twice during our 10 days.

Great experience in German Colony

After looking at many properties, we decided to rent this apartment in the German Colony. In addition to answering the VRBO listing, we spoke to the owners and the rental agent. The apartment was beautiful and bright. It had a kosher kitchen, and a washer and dryer, which were important to us. It was beautifully decorated. The location was just a few blooks off Emek Rafraim street in the heart of the German Colony. The walk to the Old City and Ben Yehuda area were about 20 minutes each, so it was very centrally located. It was very nice having the rental agent living below the apartment for any questions or issues we might have had. We needed some minor repairs, which were done immediately. We would love to rent this apartment again in a future trip to Israel.

Can't wait to go back to Jerusalem

This apartment is a great place to stay in Jerusalem. The apartment is comfortable, beautifully decorated, spacious, clean, warm and inviting. The location is fabulous..just a few minutes walk from Emek Refaim and Bakka. Close to all the stores and restaurants.

Shiirley, the custodian, is a pleasure to deal with and extremely thoughtful and helpful.

The kitchen is well stocked and we felt very comfortable using everything for our Shabbat stay.

I would definitely recommend this apartment and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Newly rennovated, luxurious apartment in German Colony

We stayed for one week and are coming back for two weeks later this year. Everything appears new, and the owner has great taste and design talents. Perfect location on a hill, quick walk to Emek Refaim, near open air park, with wonderful outdoor patio, secure apartment, with terrific showers, beds, comfortable sitting area and kitchen. You will not be dissapointed.
