Located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, Hidden Paradise is perfect for a romantic getaway, an exciting outdoor adventure, or a relaxing vacation. You can enjoy hiking and exploring new trails, or maybe even catching a glimpse of a mother bear and her cub or just picnicking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Truly a Hidden Paradise

  • 5 of 5

Upon arrival, the outside of the cabin exceeded our expectations. Upon walking in, we had the same impression. Pictures on the website do not do this place justice! The cabin inside and out has a very welcoming, peaceful feel. It was everything we expected but MORE. The beds were very comfortable, and the 2 1/2 bathrooms was perfect for our family of 4. We took advantage of the nice whirlpool tub, the showers and the hot tub felt great in the evenings since it was late March/early April and still a bit chilly outside. We cannot say enough about the beautiful private setting - far enough away from the noise of the city, but close enough that it didn’t feel too far out of the way. We took full advantage of the kitchen by eating as many meals there as we could. Most days we would eat a home cooked breakfast there, then go into town, then come back at lunch to let our dog out, eat a quick lunch and then go back into town. We would usually eat dinner in town, but a couple of nights we did have chili. We all had such a great time and the kids said they want to stay at Hidden Paradise every time we go to Gatlinburg! While we were there, my son bought a hermit crab for a souvinir and he named it "Hidden Paradise". I’ve already recommended “Secret Cabins” to several people! Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay the whole week! You are in for a treat at Hidden Paradise!

Absolutely perfect

  • 5 of 5

We spent Christmas at the cabin. It had absolutely everything we needed. Was perfect for all of us from my 19 year old son to my 81 year old mother. Beds and bathrooms perfect and clean. Nice kitchen area and the fireplace was so nice on cold nights. We had a pool tournament one evening and we’re in hot tub every night. The location is perfect you have quiet and privacy but are still a short drive from everything.i can’t say enough good about this place and hope to return.

3 out of 5 stars

Don't get me wrong, the cabin is not terrible. However, it didn't live up to the reviews we read. For example, there was no mountain view from the cabin when foliage exists. The review said "spectacular mountain views." The cabin definitely had not been cleaned very well when we arrived. Bed sheets in one bed had not been washed and had some type of yucky stuff all of them. The master bathroom and shower was very small with very little room to move around in it. We can look past all of this, but the biggest issue we had was construction of new cabins going on all week and the noise and traffic. The owner can't help this, but it made our stay less enjoyable than we had hoped. It would have been nice to know this before hand for sure. All in all, not terrible, but also did live up to the reviews in place in our opinion.

Owner's Response: Nowhere in our description does it say spectacular mountain view. The guest must have us mixed up with another cabin. We do not market a view at this cabin. On an obscure page, it states a winter view bluff mountain, lush in summer yet it is not on our title or description. Clearly, the guest had us mixed up with another cabin they were looking at before booking with us. In all my communication with guests I clearly state verbally and in writing to always contact us with any questions or concerns. The guest has a responsibility to contact the owner with any concerns so they may be taken care of immediately and rectified. We cannot guess. This guest NEVER called us on their complaints so we were surprised. Naturally, I would have sent housekeeping up immediately, no question. We care about all of our guests and our cabin. Our cabin is well maintained and very clean. The master bathroom is actually spacious…the entire cabin is spacious, especially the indoor jacuzzi and vanity area of the Master bath. The shower and commode area are typical. I believe the cabins being constructed (which is actually down the street and NOT next to the cabin) should be done very shortly. The cleanliness of our cabin has always been something we stand by. Again, if something needed to be addressed, we were never contacted. Wondering why they would give 3 stars yet have not 1 nice thing to say about our cabin. What they wrote constitutes a zero. We offer a beautiful, 3 story, gorgeous cabin, new stainless steel appliances, screened in porch with hot tub, huge covered front porch with 4 rocking chairs, well maintained, clean and the list goes on. This guest could not find one positive thing to say. This is the same guest who kept bargaining with us on at least 2 emails saying it was not in his budget. We have VERY happy guests and many, many repeat guests. Some people are just never happy no matter what a beautiful place you offer them. We stand by confidently on our lovely cabin.

Perfect homebase for exploring the area

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is in a beautiful setting that is private but also not too far from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The layout with all king beds worked great for our group as everyone had their own space along with a spacious common area. We all enjoyed spending the evenings on sitting on the quiet porch. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to enjoy all of the beautiful scenery the area has to offer.

nice and homey!

The beds were very comfortable. Had a country feel. Loved that each bedroom has its own floor. Jill was very nice, despite a screw up on my end she worked with me.

This cabin was exceptional! We loved every minute of our stay there! Wifi would have been nice, but was not a necessity. The grill was a little rusty, but we made do. With that said, there was everything we needed there...even down to the dish soap and toilet paper! Absolutely beautiful cabin...was nice and secluded, but just minutes from everywhere. Would definitely return...thank you!!!!
