About Ilene Berezin

I purchased Hidden Springs Cabin in 2010 after spending many years visiting my daughter and her family in the Nederland area. I love being in Colorado visiting grandchildren now, and truly enjoy the change of pace from the hectic lifestyle of the East. Once you come and visit the Front Range you will agree!

Guestbook comments from the owner

What a great way to end one chapter and begin another. Hitting the slopes at Eldora then brews in Nederland! Wish we could stay longer. We did not see any moose, but did see the local fox. So glad to see a Farkle pack on the self, it is one of my favorite games!

How often does one get a week in a 19th century log cabin with 21st century amenities? This past week was truly rejuvenating , the views magical, and the town of Rollinsville a delight. Really appreciated the architectural blend between the historic structure and the modern addition. Sleeping in the log cabin was the best sleep my husband and I had in a long time. Our dachshund Sherlock loved being "king of the hill". So hated to leave yesterday. Sharon Edgar Greenhill

Clean, pet friendly and affordable Colorado vacation rental.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Hidden Springs Cabin. We especially appreciate our dogs being welcome. It seems to be getting harder to find reasonably priced vacation properties that allow our pups and they go almost every where with my husband and I.

I love everything about this place

  • 5 of 5

My second time staying here. It's so adorable and cozy. The location is perfect for my mountain style, which is snow hikes and low key cross country like Nederland. The Stagestop is exactly the right style and the food is good. This place is very small, ideal for two people on a get-away.

Delightful cabin.

  • 5 of 5

Bright cheerful cabin with everything we needed for our cross country ski vacation. Well appointed kitchen, ate most meals here. Cabin easily warmed up, hot water always plentiful, quality towels, and comfortable bed. National park trail map available in basket a bonus. Stage Stop restaurant/dance hall a block away, so fortunate to be there for an awesome concert and night of dancing. Highly recommend.

In the middle of nowhere!

  • 4 of 5

Had a little trouble finding the place, the road wasn't even in the GPS! No cell phone signal anywhere to be found. The cabin was beautiful, and although the dirt and dead winter forest around us was an eye sore at 1st, the 2nd night, it snowed! It was beautiful! We saw tracks from animals the next morning but no animals themselves. The cabin itself was great, all the cooking utensils and bathing items we needed were there. The drive to Eldora mountain wasn't bad, about 15 mins. Though it was very windy (we weren't expecting that), so we only skiied two days. Overall, a great experience. Thank you!

Great getaway!

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I came from Washington State to visit family in Evergreen, Co. We took a 2 night detour to stay at the cabin in Rollinsville. Everything was wonderful! Even though Ilene told me that there were other cabins close to us, it was very private! We would definitely come back! The only thing to keep in mind is that the cabin was added on to so there is a significant slope from the bedroom, which is in the back, to the front room. If you get up in the middle of the night without lights, it definitely throws you off. We got used to it. Again, overall, loved it and will definitely be back!
