Unit #310 was extensively updated to a very high standard after the building renovation in 2015. Since the Reno, #310 is without a doubt one of the most sought after condos in all of Kihei Surfside! Please contact us directly to save fees: arnicans@telus.net

The unit has a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen with new cabinetry, granite counter tops and over the counter mood lighting. The living room has a computer desk with free 24/7 high speed internet, free long distance calling to the U.S. and Canada, and a brand new 55" Samsung smart TV, Cable box and DVD player. We also have a brand new Harman Kardon Aura surround sound blue tooth compatible super speaker that you can play your favorite music through! There is also a stereo with an iPod dock. There is a security safe in the bedroom closet.

Air conditioning in the unit is a non issue as the trade winds keep the condo comfortable all year round. There are multi speed ceiling fans in both the living room and bedroom if you feel the need.

The bedroom has a new Cal King size mattress and brand new furniture! It too has a wall mounted HD TV! Top of the line brand new linens and towels are here for your comfort. Laundry facilities are available on site.

Because Kihei Surfside #310 is so close to the ocean, the views from the condo and the grounds are spectacular! Whale watching, while in season, can be done from both. Just beyond the property you see the ocean and the beautiful West Maui Mountains as well as the islands of Lanai, Kaho'olawe and Molokini.

The grounds at Kihei Surfside include expansive, meticulously kept lawn, with oodles of space for such activities as mini golf, shuffle board, bocce, and croquet to name a few. There are plenty of lounge chairs both on the lawn and in the oceanfront heated swimming pool area. There is not a better place to sit and soak up the true beauty of this Hawaiian paradise! The pool side deluxe barbeque is a great place to meet and mingle with fellow vacationers. It is also the place where Surfside residents gather for nightly ceremonies to worship the Hawaiian gods with conch blowing at sunset. There is an elevator in the building.

Did somebody mention the beach?

Kihei Surfside is located at the north end of Keawakapu Beach. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Maui. With it's soft white sand and clear water it goes on for miles! There are many water activities to enjoy such as swimming, snorkeling, diving, and body surfing. It hardly ever rains here as it is the desert part of the island. The condo is equipped with beach chairs, umbrella, mats, towels and cooler for your enjoyment. Some of the best snorkeling on Maui is just off the property.

World class golf courses in Wailea and Makena are only a short drive away as well as great shopping and dining. In fact there are two superb oceanfront restaurants only a short walk away. There is deli/grocery store right across from our parking lot as well as a yoga studio.

You can rent cars at the airport in Kahului, just 20-25 minutes from Surfside or in Kihei town, just minutes down the road. Just a few minutes from the airport are Costco, Wal-Mart, Macys, and Sears. While closer to town there is Safeway, Long's and Foodland. Also in Kihei there are many fine restaurants, video and gift shops. Many boat excursions leave the boat ramp from right next door.

If you like to go for drives, there are many different choices. Historical Lahaina, beautiful Kaanapali beach, and the Hana Highway are scenic delights.

We are Edwin and Wendy Arnicans from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. We have been coming to Maui with our children since 1999. We have been renting at the Kihei Surfside since 2001 and now we are fortunate to own our own unit! We love it here and we hope you will enjoy it too!!

Why EDWIN ARNICANS chose South Maui

We always knew Kihei surfside was our favorite place to visit because we have been vacationing here for years. When it came time to purchase in Maui we had our realtor show us plenty of condos with all sorts of proximities to the ocean. We kept comparing them all to Kihei Surfside and it was a no brainer. Hands down Kihei Surfside was the winner!!

What makes this condo unique

The unique benefits we enjoy while staying at Kihei Surfside are the meticulously kept grounds and the spectacular views from anywhere on them! The fact that you have plenty of choices of things to do right on our property. Bocce, croquet, swimming, mini golf, whale watching, shuffle board and just sitting on the lounge chairs reading or soaking up all the beauty of this Hawaiian paradise all in our own backyard. You can always go next door for all the beach activities like body surfing and snorkeling. You can go for long walks along the beach and gaze at the luxurious oceanfront homes and hotels or go for a scenic drive to almost anywhere on the island.

We had a wonderful stay! Your unit was spectacular. We have stayed at the Surfside on 4 other occasions but will return to your unit! We treated it like it was our own home, shoes off at door and sand free (as possible 😊). Wiped down and cleaned up before we left. I'm sure the cleaner appreciated that. Take care until we talk again.

Perfect place to stay

Well equipped and furnished condo in a great building in a great area! Keawakapu beach within steps, and lots of restaurants and shopping within minutes. Gorgeous property with beautiful views. Would re-book in an instant!

Great Property! Great Unit!

Kihei Surfside is a well kept building in a convenient location. If you like using the beautiful beaches of south Kihei, you are right in the middle of a number of the best. Unit 310, where we just spent the month of April, is well-positioned in the middle of the building for taking advantage of the fantastic view. The owners handled all the details of renting in a timely and professional manner, and the on-island contact person was personable and helpful. We found the unit to be equipped in a thoughtful manner that enhanced our enjoyment. For example, the kitchen was well stocked with all useful implements for preparing meals and contained helpful every day condiments, such as salt, pepper, an array of spices, and so forth ( if you prefer dinning out, there are lots of nearby options, including in the building next door). There were also helpful items for enjoying the beach, such as chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and so forth. (We left behind a couple of boogie boards to add to the equipment). One of the features that matters to us is the comfort of the bed, and we found the king size bed in this unit to be very comfortable. It was also convenient to have a second bathroom in the unit.

If there is a negative for this property, it would be that the bedrooms back onto communal walkways and the parking lots of two buildings. That can sometimes mean more noise than one would wish for sleeping, and we had to close the windows on those occasions. Fortunately, the owners have installed very good fans in the unit, which keep the air moving nicely on warm evenings. Perhaps for the hottest summer months, it would be helpful to have a stand up fan as an option for white noise if the bedroom windows have to be closed. We found the month of April was still ok.

Another plus with this building is an office on site where you can send and receive mail, get change for the laundry room, borrow equipment for several outdoor activities (putting, shuffleboard, croquet, boules, and so forth). (We were at first disappointed there was no laundry in the unit, but found the on site laundry room was large and pleasant to use, and it wasn't much of an issue).

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Unit 310 at Kihei Surfside! At least, not while it has it's current owners who have equipped and maintain the unit in such a thoughtful way. Thank you Arnicans!

A Very Enjoyable Stay

We spent two weeks at #310 Kihei Surfside and enjoyed every minute. Our condo was clean and in great shape for our arrival. Getting access was easy and the view from our balcony was spectacular.

The condo was tastefully decorated and the linens and towels were very nice. The king size bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of closet and drawer space for our two weeks worth of clothing. I would have to say that the only downside to staying there was that the washer/dryer was located on the first floor. I would gladly recommend this rental to my family, friends or acquaintances. My wife and I enjoyed not only the condo, but its excellent location near the beach, restaurants and activities in South Maui.

Owner's Response: Mahalo! Cleanliness and comfort is what we strive for at unit #310. For us a comfy king size bed is the only way to go! In some units closet space can be an issue, not in unit #310, we have a floor to ceiling closet with lots of cupboard & drawer space. Aloha, Edwin and Wendy

Wonderful! Beautiful!

Incredible view! We stayed in a small one bedroom condo that was tastefully decorated and extremely clean. Just a few minutes walk down to the ocean. Next door there is a beautiful beach where we enjoyed our boogie boards as well as snorkeling. You can't go wrong at this spot!
