Mary purchased this house in 2006
My family of 4 recently had a week-long stay here, and what a wonderful week it was! The unit itself is spacious, clean, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. Our hosts were welcoming and accommodating. Being a young family, we spent a good amount of time here in the mornings and evenings, and felt right at home.
Much has to be said about the location - it is simply perfect! The property is located on a quiet, tree-lined street behind Dallas Rd which runs along the coast. In addition to offering the tranquil experience of a desirable neighborhood, the house is a minute's walk to the beach, where an endless supply of pebbles and driftwood kept the kids amused while we soaked in the beautiful view of the ocean and the Olympic Mountains across the strait.
An urban experience was close at hand as well. The nearby Cook Street Village offers an eclectic mix of shops, cafes, markets and restaurants. It is a chic hang-out for locals and visitors alike, for good reason. A pleasant stroll from the village across the beautiful Beacon Hill Park would take us to the picturesque Inner Harbor and its many tourist attractions. Best of all, all along the way, an ocean view was nearly constantly ours!
We had a truly memorable vacation, and having such a wonderful home-away-from-home was a big part of it. We are looking forward to many happy returns!
Park next door with playground equipment and lots of paths along ocean to many beaches, biking, running and outdoor activities along Dallas Road waterfront.
