Perfect for our family of nine.

The townhome had plenty of room and seating. There were nine of us so three bathrooms were great. The house was clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. If we had stayed longer we might have needed additional towels but as it was there were plenty for all. The drive to Universal Studios was an easy 13 minutes and never had to get on the freeway. We walked over to Crust one night and had really good pizza. The owners were easy to work with and made us feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this place to rent. Thank you for making our time with our grandchildren memorable.

Nice location for LA visit

Nice location, easy to find. Reasonable access to LA destinations. We didn't spend too much time inside but when we did, everything functioned well. There was a nice open area for the kids to play on the first floor. I enjoyed having a cup of coffee on the rooftop terrace before everyone else got up. Overall I would recommend this place for families.

Great location in LA

My sister and I rented this condo for a trip with our 5 boys. The location was very convenient. It was great having a parking spot. There were many restaurants in walking distance. There is a Trader Joe's a few blocks away. When we arrived there were no paper towels, garbage bags or paper towels. The full size bunk bed was very rickety as was the kitchen table. The owners were very easy to work with. We had a good stay.

Beautiful Vacation Home, But lacks some Important things

This home is beautiful :-) We had our LA Vacation this year in June and we were 10 people in the party. We rented this vacation home since it appeared in our search and looks good. Like I mentioned, this home is beautiful, but there are some point that stopped me from rating it as 5 star.

1. This home is really an eight bed home which is being rented as a "sleeps 12". The first eight can be accommodated on bed, the next two are 'expected' to sleep on Sofa and the next 2 are 'expected' to sleep in Sleeping Bags or Air Bed mattress. Obviously, the sleep will be not as refreshing for people not sleeping on proper beds.

2. We reached there on Friday evening in a 10 seater Ford Transit van, but the Parking of this Vacation home is underground and has a low ceiling. Our van wasn't able to enter in the parking due to low ceiling and narrow driveway. There are many Restaurants in the neighborhood and Friday/Saturday evening is the time when you will find roadside parking Full. You can't park on driveway as is blocks the Parking gate and there are other vehicles in the parking (belongs to people in other units of the building). We found first roadside parking at 9:30 pm though we checked in at 7:00 pm. If you reaching there in a large vehicle over the weekend, then this is the fist thing you may want to address.

3. Another thing is that there are NO locks in any of the bathrooms. When 10-12 people going on a vacation, it is usually a "Friends and Family" vacation not just couple going on vacation. So some level of privacy is expected and locks in Bathrooms are a must in my opinion.

I have given this feedback to the homeowner and she assured me that they will address as much as they can.

Owner's Response: - Our listing clearly states that the 9th & 10th person will be sleeping on the sofa. It is also clearly written on the rental agreement that this tenants had signed : but it would not matter as this tenant, Vipul Pathak, did not follow the house rules at all. They have left dirty house with trash & unwashed dishes & had checked out 45 min past given check out time causing delay in cleaning the place . Because of their selfishness & disregard, subsequent traveler had to move in later than given time. How would they like if it happened to them? there is a reasonable amount of mess usually travelers will leave behind; but this traveler had left a dumpster behind & kept cleaning crew behind the door preventing them from coming in past 10 am ! We have asked on our rental agreement that latest check out time is 10 am when both check in / out happen on the same day, but they would not care. Shame on them. Our underground two spot parking fits SUV's such as range rover or suburban no problem , but they had rented full size Bus. I'm sorry if the height was not big enough to pass its size. I don't know any town home building that does though with sky rise underground parking size. Usually tenants renting this type huge size Bus fitting 12 people understand that most probably it will need to be park on the street. Our listing states max. capacity 10: I have no idea where they read 12; but it was 12 of them which we don't mind pending they are ok with the accommodations. Our listing clearly explains bedrooms layout; & with respect to that, eventhough it is located in the center most LA attractions, we keep our rates to the minimum & have not increase them since the beginning, 2010, to allow travelers to stay in the upscale heart of the Angel's city at the affordable price.

It was great.

The house was spacious, plenty of room for all 7 of us. It had so many things we didn't bring that they supplied, which was awesome. Its in a great location, especially for things we wanted to do. The owners were great, I was able to call anytime I had a question and they were so helpful and nice. I would totally use this house again if I was able to go on vacation again. Overall fantastic!
