Positively the closest 'Dillon' condo to Keystone! This large, 1950-square-foot townhouse is part of a small, quiet complex of only 16 units located just 2 blocks outside the world famous Keystone Ski and Golf Resort. Centrally located, there are two other ski areas within 15 minutes of this townhome, Breckenridge and Arapaho Basin. The Chateau Acadian townhomes include a clubhouse with a big hot tub, a very large sauna, big lounges and huge party decks. Be right at Keystone Resort without having to pay the high Keystone prices! A FREE shuttle to the slopes picks up nearby!

This townhome is huge! The living room has a big, stone, wood-burning fireplace with plenty of firewood provided for your convenience. This room is large enough that both of the leather sofas fold out into queen-size beds! A new 42' LCD TV is provided for your entertainment pleasure.

The large, U-shaped kitchen has an abundance of cabinetry and counter space including a double-wide granite countertop that runs the length of the room dividing the kitchen from the dining room and creating extra seating for four. All the new stainless steel appliances are full-size and the kitchen is quite well equipped.

The each of the three roomy bedrooms is located on a separate level within the townhome, creating a wonderful sense of privacy. The romantic master bedroom has a new king bed, a stone wood-burning fireplace, flat screen TV, and French doors opening onto a small private deck with views toward Lake Dillon and the snow-capped mountains beyond. The second bedroom also has a set of French doors opening onto its own private deck, a queen bed, and a flat screen TV. Off the third bedroom, which has a queen bed, and a flat screen TV, is a laundry room with a full-sized washer and a dryer. There are two newly remodeled tiled baths with one of the baths being a full, split bath to create two separate areas for greater privacy, and the other is a 3/4 bath with a shower.

Everything you come to the Colorado mountains to do is within just a few minutes of this townhouse. This excellent location is within a very short walking distance of a huge lake, a rushing mountain river; an 80-mile-long bike path runs right beside the property, an award-winning golf course makes a crescent around the neighborhood, a mountain stream with its own pocket park runs right through this small complex. Ski three different ski areas with the nearest lifts only one-and-one-half miles away and a FREE shuttle bus with a stop nearby will transport you to all three.

If you want a large condo close to Keystone was lots of flatscreen TVs this is not a bad choice. It has a very nice family room with fireplace for hanging out after sking and watching football This condo has a style built in the 1980s where there are several levels of living space. Theupper floors have two bedrooms the middle floor has a kitchen and family room and there is a bottom level with a bedroom. Noticeable improvements to this condo are the kitchen counters which are granite and the upper beds in the bedrooms . The bathrooms are average at best with very minor improvements from probably their original build date. When you enter the unit it is clear that there is likely no noticeable difference from its original build . The carpet is stained and spotted in multiple areas. We tried calling the property manager to have him witness how dirty the carpet was so it could be documented but he did not answer any phone calls. A call to the reservation specialist was answered and she was very surprised that the carpet was that dirty since it was " just cleaned" . The family room couches are reasonably comfortable to sit on but the foldaway sofa sleepers are impossible to sleep on due to their discomfort. The place is listed as sleeping 10 although we had just seven and one person basically had to sleep on the couch. The entire construction of the complex is very dated and there were very few other residents there while we were there. Thehot tub area has are two small hot tubs that are meant for very small groups. The exercise equipment is something that you would've put out on your street to give away for free 20 years ago.

It's a good location to Keystone which is approximately 10 minutes away but there are Absolutely no shuttles from the Keystone resort that go to château Acadian

There is also no information on restaurants or shopping that awaits you when you arrive there is no property manager that will answer questions for us for help in the event of an emergency . The unit had no screwdriver or scissors

Most of the information available to us on the kitchen counter involved information on how not to incur fines or penalties for parking , trash take out , or the damage to the unit and the like .......

We've been out to Colorado and Utah for 15 of the last 15 years and while we had fun this unit definitely ranks in the very lower third of the units we stayed in and would not stay here again

Owner's Response: I am sorry you feel this way, especially after I forgave the extra housekeeping fee we were charged for the big mess you left this townhome in after your stay. You were informed of all this. You must be misinformed about the shuttle. A direct route into the River Run slopes picks up a block & a half away, & it runs every 1/2 hour during peak times. A door-to-door shuttle was never promised, nor advertised, so I don't know why you are complaining. This townhome has been nicely updated with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, tiled baths, & priced right. No structural changes have been made. Why you would expect there to be is beyond me, the photos are up to date & representative of the unit. What reason is there to move walls or change the level of the floors, assuming that's even possible? This is a townhome, its listed as a townhome, & townhomes always have multi levels. Plus they are still being built to this day. The carpet was professionally cleaned with only 19 rental nights between that clean & your stay. If stains were found then someone before you was mighty rough on the carpet & I apologize. However your stay was over the Christmas & getting the carpet re-cleaned at the time of your complaint, in the middle of the holidays, was not realistic. The onsite manager is there for emergencies only, as mention in our informative welcome letter, of which you received a copy. I doubt he believed the carpet was an emergency. The 2 expensive, real leather sleeper sofas were refurbished, and new springs were installed just last summer, but although you admit they were comfortable to sit on, sleeper sofas are rarely truly comfortable for sleeping & we have had no other complaints. Since there were 5 children in your party, & only 2 adults, was it a kid who found it impossible to sleep on a sleeper sofa? 3 comfortable beds are provide. All of the rental units in the complex were totally booked for the holidays, so I don't know where you got the idea that there was no one there, & if this was the case, why were 2 full size, 10 person hot tubs a problem for the 7 people in your party? Again I don't know what you were expecting as a clear & representative photo of these hot tubs is right on our listing. The exercise equipment was installed by the homeowners of this complex for their own use, & never advertised, so you couldn't have been expecting any, much less be disappointed. The HOA provides the rules of the complex information, not us.
