The Pilgrims' Guest Quarters offers a bright, comfortable, 2 bedroom apartment for your stay in Washington DC. The large living area includes the fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, & living area featuring a large decorative fireplace. TV with cable is provided as well as wireless internet access. Both bedrooms are located down a short hall. The larger bedroom is furnished with a Queen-sized bed, while the second bedroom features 2 Twin-sized beds, perfect for children or those looking for separate beds. The living room includes a daybed, that can convert to sleep 2 additional guests. There is one full bath, that also includes full sized washer/dryer. The unit is a first floor, all one level unit, with minimal stairs from the sidewalk.

Metro access is about a 12 minute walk at Union Station. There are several bus lines within 2 blocks traveling to destinations such as the Washington Convention Center, Smithsonian Museums, Library of Congress, Union Station, and the White House.

Great news! The DC Streetcar, which runs along H Street and Benning Road, is up and running. Standard hours of operation is:

Monday - Thursday: 6:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.

Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m.

Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m.

Holidays: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Beautiful house, affordable, off the main street, close to downtown attractions

This is a very charming Victorian style house. Very clean and safe and has everything you need to live there even for longer periods of time. We liked 2 separate single beds in one of the 2 bedrooms - kids can sleep there. Overall, it will sleep 6 people comfortably. The manager, who greeted us, is super nice and helpful, we've had a great communication - she answered all questions we've had. It's located off the main street (it's much quieter than on main streets), but close to the Union Station, restaurants, shops, and the National Mall area. We walked everywhere. Off-street parking is available in the gated lot behind the place. The only criticism is that the windows (they looked like the original sliding up windows) in the master bedroom don't seal well, so you can hear everything from the outside as if they were open. In addition, cigarette smoke gets in from the neighbors living in the upstairs unit (their entrance is where those windows are), and the temperature in there is as outside. The other windows seemed ok.

Good Place for family

The Apt is nice and clean and has everything needed for a nice stay in DC, The location was perfect for us to walk toi the national mall and all the monuments. We are hikers so it was no problem. However there is a trolly that runs down H street for free to Union station if you don't like walking. The Whole Foods Market was on the way home only 2 blocks from apt so we could pick up dinner and breakfast there. The downside was that this is a two story building and the upstairs stairway is walled off in the apt but the sounds of people going up and down is clearly audible in the apt. The front porch for the upstairs apt is next to the bedroom so when the folks upstairs were out on the porch smoking and talking at midnight is was a bit annoying. You can't control the noise of the upstairs folks and doesn;'t seem like there is a lot of insulation to block it. We did enjoy having the washer and dryer and when we had a problem with the washer the Manager Jackie was there super fast to help. The neighborhood was a bit noisy in the early 5 am morning there seemed to be people yelling at each other on the street .

As advertised!

Great rental in a friendly, convenient neighborhood-- Plenty of space for at least 4 people and everything was in good enough condition. Loved be able to take the tram to Union Station and Uber only ran us about $7 + tip to any of the main attractions by the Mall. Few stores within walking distance as well...

Only feedback would be that the front railing on the porch is loose and could be a hazard, FYI. Thanks for having us!

Visit to Washington

A lovely place to stay - spacious with all you need including Netflix for our teenage kids. Easy to get to from Union station and all the sites - will book again when next back in Washington

Exceeded Expectations

We found this property to be perfect for our family of 5 vacationing in Washington, DC. It was clean, functional, super convenient to public transportation and located in a safe, vibrant, up-and-coming neighborhood. The DC streetcar runs on H Street, takes you right to Union Station, and is currently free! Only 2 blocks away! Plus, the AC was needed after a long day in DC's summer heat/humidity. I would definitely recommend this property for budget minded travelers. Another bonus was gated, off-street parking with in-and-out privileges right at the property.

Great visit

We enjoyed our stay at Pilgrim Guest Quarters. Fun neighborhood with good restaurants, grocery store, guest parking. Excellent shower, comfy beds, quiet. Loved waking up Sunday morning to the sounds of singing from across the street from the church service.
