House, 7 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 7.5 Baths, (Sleeps 26)
My wife and I are Alabama natives and both grew up vacationing on the gulf coast - from the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay to Panama City Beach Florida. We love being in nature and the perspective it gives to life - the sounds of the breaking waves and coastal birds and the views of the striking white sand and Gulf water.
George purchased this House in 2010
Why George chose Gulf Shores
We chose Enchanted Dunes because of the wonderful house directly overlooking the beach and the uncrowded, natural surroundings yet with plenty of amenities.

Wonderful! My family of 16 loved the home. It was beautiful with great views.
All of my family loved staying in the home. The views were beautiful! The kitchen was well supplied with everything needed. We loved having the ice machine. We did have trouble with the tv remotes We would rent this home again.
Can’t wait to come back!
Enchanted Dunes was the perfect house for our family of 17. The house is well equipped. And we all loved that all 7 bedrooms had blackout window coverings. And having a bathroom in all 7 bedrooms was wonderful! All of my family agree that this is their favorite house we have stayed at!
Perfect House—Especially for Large Groups
This is truly a magnificent house. We had plenty of room for our family & friends from grandchildren to senior citizens. We also had one person in our group who has significant physical challenges & the elevator that goes to all floors was the only reason she was able to join us this year because she can’t navigate stairs. Plenty of parking available on-site.
The beds & linens were all comfortable — even the twin beds were as comfortable as the master suites’, which has not been the case in other rental properties in which we’ve stayed.
The house was clean. There were plenty of starter toiletries, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, garbage bags, etc. The kitchen had all the appliances, dishes & pans we needed to cook family meals. It was great to have 2 refrigerators. The 2 dishwashers cleaned the dishes well & were super quiet. There was plenty of storage areas in the house for our family’s belongings. The WiFi worked well for our “tech-connected” family. Our grandson had no problems staying connected on his Fortnite game with his friends back home. The large TV in the living room had a clear, crisp picture & the surround sound in the living room was a real plus. There were TVs in the bedrooms with great picture & sound so you could watch something else or listen to music to escape from family togetherness if you desired.
The view of the white sand & ocean is quite beautiful particularly from the kitchen, dining area & back decks. We walked most days along the boardwalk & in the neighborhood enjoying the outdoors & the beach. The Fort Morgan location is about 20 minutes from Gulf Shores but the drive is not difficult & for all the benefits you get of a quiet, uncrowded, beautiful beach & the upscale amenities of the house; it’s totally worth it.
The owner, George, was a pleasure to work with & it was a bonus to have the company who manages it for him, Meyer’s Realty staff, available 24/7 if we needed anything. The few maintenance issues that arose were dealt with promptly & George stayed in contact with us to ensure everything was resolved to our satisfaction.
I highly recommend this house for a memorable, enjoyable beach vacation experience.
Secluded with easy access to conveniences
Beautiful views of the white sand, crystal blue water, sunrises, and sunsets. Spacious house located at the end of a low traffic street. Quick access to a few restaurants and markets.
Beautiful community pools and excercise room.
The house is a few minutes away from car ferry to Dauphin Island which is a great day trip.
We took a rainy day trip to the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola, the home of the Blue Angels; very interesting and educational. About an hour away.
The house was awesome and the rental company and owner were responsive to our questions and needs.
Loved staying here!
This house was extremely clean and right on the water. The beds were extremely comfortable and they had everything you need for your stay! We had a fabulous time in Gulf Shores, AL! The only thing I would recommend is getting the gate code BEFORE you arrive. The gate code was not provided with the check in information and we had several families stuck and couldn't get into the property.
The house was perfect for our family of 20! The view was incredible and the house was well laid out for us!
The Fort Morgan region of Gulf Shores is a less-developed and uncrowded area. Fort Morgan Rd (Highway 180) extends westward from Highway 59 along a peninsula that separates the Gulf of Mexico to the south from Bon Secour/Mobile Bay to the north. The Bon Secour wilderness preserve is along this route. There are two golf courses off of Ft Morgan Rd: Peninsula and Kiva Dunes.
