Nice Place and Pet Friendly!

  • 4 of 5

Nice condo and great location. The only note I'd mention is if you're older (like us) this is a second floor condo, which means carrying luggage (lots of my wife's luggage) upstairs. I pack light! We enjoyed our stay. Thanks for sharing it with others.

Enjoyed Hilton Head

  • 5 of 5

This was my first trip to Hilton Head and we were going with another couple for a friends wedding. We booked through Marion's Place and the rental communication was excellent and well laid out. We arrived to a nice clean condo and it was perfect for the 4 adults. Large bedrooms and our own bathroom-gorgeous deck out back overlooking one of the greens of the golf course and canal.

We spent a lot of time bike riding, and this community is perfect for that as there are bike paths all throughout Hilton Head. Drove only when we had to. Enjoyed time at the pool which was a quick walk from the condo and drove to beach a few times (only because of all the stuff we brought with us).

The only downfall as another reviewer commented on was the Wi-fi was a bit spotty at times and with 4 adults who wanted to look up places to go, things to do, etc. it wasn't easy to get online. All in all though-not a bad thing when you are trying to unwind on vacation.

We are already planning our next trip to Hilton Head and bringing the kids along for the ride this time.

Great Vacation!!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time using Marion’s Place and we were well pleased with this condo in Evian. The kitchen was well equipped and the condo was comfortable. The Evian area is quiet and a beautiful area to walk our dogs. We saw lots of wildlife this trip…ospreys, herons and alligators. We took our two Cavaliers to the beach every morning for a walk and they loved it. We also made use of the Evian tennis courts and pool. Marion’s Place was a pleasure to work with and we will definitely be using them for vacation rentals in the future.

Another Great Experience With Marion's Place

  • 5 of 5

We have used Marion's Place 3 times on trips to Hilton Head. We've also stayed in three different condos and all of them were clean, well kept, updated and very comfortable. This trip, we stayed in 160 Evian. It was as expected. And this particular kitchen was very well equipped for light cooking. The bed in the master is very comfortable. Overall were very happy for our two week stay. We really like Evian because of the tennis courts which were recently redone and are in great shape right now. We love using Marion's Place because they are dog friendly and allow us to bring our girls for a very reasonable pet fee. I would highly recommend using Marion's Place for your vacation rentals in Hilton Head.

Very nice!

  • 5 of 5

This is our second time renting a until from Marion's Place in HHI and both times we were quite pleased. The condo was clean and well appointed (There was one stain on the master comforter, but not a big deal). Our family was comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. We would rent again in a heartbeat, but possibly for 2 weeks next time.

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

Evian was an excellent choice for my family of 5 with three teenage sons. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the overall setting was very comfortable. We loved the entire Shipyard area---our first time to Hilton Head. Most likely, we will return again. The area contained wonderful flowers, wildlife, and beautiful trees--we definitely felt as if we were on vacation. Get the bike rentals!!! It was worth riding on the trails and even to and on the beach everyday. We also took a private dolphin tour which was wonderful.

A few minor problems.....the T.V. was not hooked up well and kept going out. Thankfully, my sons are tech savy enough to remove the tv from the wall, reconnect the cable and get it working again. Also, the WiFi is not much to talk about....if your family has more than one device (computer, ipad, smartphone) it will use up the band width quickly...wifi is not that great. Although we didn't come on vacation to work, we did need wifi to locate sight seeing, restaurants, points of interest, and could not get online half the time.

Finally, a few large waterbugs were found crawling ....I believe they are called Palmettos? They don't bite or hurt, but look scary and are very large---like cockroaches. However, these are common among places this far south in the U.S.

Otherwise, great place to stay.....
