Overview

About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4-5)

Cute and cozy cabin located just 3 miles to the south of the town of Grand Lake and only 3.5 miles to the south of Rocky Mountain National Park. This cabin has expansive lake views with the Continental Divide beyond.

Best suited for small families with 2-3 kids.

There's room to back a trailer into the driveway. So, if you're planning on going boating in the summer or snowmobiling on the expansive network of groomed trails to the west of town in the winter, parking isn't a problem.

There has been a family of moose wondering around the neighborhood so don't be surprised if you wake up one morning and see them outside the window.

In the spring you can hear the roar of the Colorado River as it swells with snow melt. Try your luck at fishing and have fresh trout for dinner!

Boat rentals available just down the street!

Keep in mind that this is perfect for a small family or couple. Any more than 3 adults overextends the sleeping accommodations.

Sweet little mountain retreat

  • 5 of 5

The location was awesome. We loved being able to go in and out of Rocky Mountain National Park and also enjoyed several jaunts through Grand Lake's little main street, which is adorable and full of tasty options.

The cabin was perfect for our family of 5. Beds for everyone and a kitchen for some home cooked dinners! We loved every minute of our stay.

Wonderful home, Wonderful hosts!

  • 5 of 5

This was a great rental for our stay in Grand Lake! The size was perfect for our family of 5 and was conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to go. The house was SO well stocked and clean! We were only there for 3 nights on our way to Yellowstone National Park, but Stuart was so helpful with suggestions on what to do while we were there. We hiked, rented a boat, explored the town, and spent a day in Rocky Mountain National Park. There were a couple of deer a bull moose who visited the house a few times. Our family was sad to leave this lovely treasure behind, but we will definitely be back!

Very nice place!

  • 4 of 5

Very clean and well done cabin! The toy box was great for my kiddos! And all the windows are wonderful! A word of caution for really little kids though is that the stairs are REALLY steep going up to the loft. The only other thing is that the house is more in a neighborhood than I expected. But overall a great space. Thanks!

Cozy Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Had a great stay! Cabin was very clean and so, so cozy. Everything worked great and was stocked with everything we needed. Stuart was very easy to communicate with. Nice location close enough to town but tucked away to enjoy the quiet of the mountains. Would stay again!

Lives up to its name...COZY CABIN!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this quaint and cozy cabin. We had such a relaxing time watching the snow fall as it covered parts of the lake and the mountain peaks. We loved how it was just outside of the small, cute town of Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. We also loved walking through town, the restaurant recommendations from Stuart, and exploring parts of the RMNP. We hope to visit again during the summer season!

Snug and pretty cabin, everything just as advertised!

  • 5 of 5

We had such a great weekend and loved the cabin. We appreciated how clean it was, how the kitchen was fully stocked (how many times do you get to a cabin to find no colander or no serrated knife or only three spoons?), how nice the bedding was, and especially how beautiful and well-built the cabin itself was. The owners' instructions were clear and thorough, and everything worked just as advertised. The owners themselves were quick to respond, warm, and welcoming. The location is close to the Grand Lake village, without being in it-- this is a good thing, as the village can get very congested in the summer. I was afraid from the map that we might be able to hear the highway from the cabin, but that was a non-issue. What a gem! We are already thinking about trying to come back.
