Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4-5)
Cute and cozy cabin located just 3 miles to the south of the town of Grand Lake and only 3.5 miles to the south of Rocky Mountain National Park. This cabin has expansive lake views with the Continental Divide beyond.
Best suited for small families with 2-3 kids.
There's room to back a trailer into the driveway. So, if you're planning on going boating in the summer or snowmobiling on the expansive network of groomed trails to the west of town in the winter, parking isn't a problem.
There has been a family of moose wondering around the neighborhood so don't be surprised if you wake up one morning and see them outside the window.
In the spring you can hear the roar of the Colorado River as it swells with snow melt. Try your luck at fishing and have fresh trout for dinner!
Boat rentals available just down the street!
Keep in mind that this is perfect for a small family or couple. Any more than 3 adults overextends the sleeping accommodations.

We love to get away to Grand Lake and enjoy all of the beautiful things that it has to offer!
Stuart purchased this Cabin in 2001
Why Stuart chose Grand Lake
The three lakes surrounded by mountains makes for one of the most beautiful places in Colorado. Having Rocky Mountain National Park within a 5 minute drive is another big plus.

Very nice place!
Very clean and well done cabin! The toy box was great for my kiddos! And all the windows are wonderful! A word of caution for really little kids though is that the stairs are REALLY steep going up to the loft. The only other thing is that the house is more in a neighborhood than I expected. But overall a great space. Thanks!
Had a great stay! Cabin was very clean and so, so cozy. Everything worked great and was stocked with everything we needed. Stuart was very easy to communicate with. Nice location close enough to town but tucked away to enjoy the quiet of the mountains. Would stay again!
Lives up to its name...COZY CABIN!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this quaint and cozy cabin. We had such a relaxing time watching the snow fall as it covered parts of the lake and the mountain peaks. We loved how it was just outside of the small, cute town of Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. We also loved walking through town, the restaurant recommendations from Stuart, and exploring parts of the RMNP. We hope to visit again during the summer season!
Snug and pretty cabin, everything just as advertised!
We had such a great weekend and loved the cabin. We appreciated how clean it was, how the kitchen was fully stocked (how many times do you get to a cabin to find no colander or no serrated knife or only three spoons?), how nice the bedding was, and especially how beautiful and well-built the cabin itself was. The owners' instructions were clear and thorough, and everything worked just as advertised. The owners themselves were quick to respond, warm, and welcoming. The location is close to the Grand Lake village, without being in it-- this is a good thing, as the village can get very congested in the summer. I was afraid from the map that we might be able to hear the highway from the cabin, but that was a non-issue. What a gem! We are already thinking about trying to come back.
Thank you for your nice review. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay and are welcome back anytime!
We had a great time at the cozy cabin. It was a perfect place to celebrate our 20th wedding ann.
We loved the cabin and had a great time. Saw some beautiful views of the lake and mountains from the deck. Had some mule deer in the yard - an awesome sight to see.
I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed celebrating your 20th wedding anniversary at the cabin! Thanks for staying with us to celebrate your special day!
Charming cabin with view of Grand Lake
This little gem is clean, spacious, has a great deck with outdoor dining furniture and grill, large windows and comfortable furniture. It's approximately a mile away from downtown and that was a perk for us. Downtown Grand Lake is crowded with tourists and this place was quiet. We loved it.
We had to call the owner, Stuart, upon arrival because, although it was August, it was raining and cold most of our stay. Stuart got back to us immediately and he was able to walk us through turning on the heat.
We were a group of 4 adults and found this to be enough space for a comfortable stay. The steps leading to the upstairs bedroom are a bit steep. Just a heads up; it was not a problem for us, however.
We'd stay here again!
I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the cabin. Also, I'm glad to hear that it was an easy process to get the heat on for you. It's normally not that cold up there during that time of year!
Thanks again and you're welcome back anytime! Oh and a small edit to the review; the cabin overlooks Shadow Mountain Lake, not Grand.
