We think our unit will MORE THAN meet your every need. Recent remodels include new Queen Sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress, new recliner, quieter dishwasher & new flooring. The kitchen and bedrooms were re-done in 2010-11 (King bed in master and Queen with memory foam top in guest).

Unit 114A is a 1st floor (NO ELEVATOR)/ 2 bedroom - 2 bath condominium with a great western view of the mountains. Convenient to enclosed hot tub, laundry and both front and ‘slope side’ entrances.

The MAIN LIVING area has OPEN floor plan with FULL-size kitchen – that is fully equipped. Small appliances include Coffee maker, toaster oven, electric can opener, food chopper, crock pot, hand mixer & blender. Plenty of cabinet space has been set aside for your groceries. Dining can easily seat six and can be expanded for more space for puzzles, etc. Living room has comfortable seating for 6 & has a a Queen sleeper sofa. The Wet Bar is centrally located. Additional features are 32” flat screen TV, Blu-Ray Disc player, CD/Radio and electric fireplace. Opening off this area is an enclosed porch with small bar and GREAT views of the mountains.

The BEDROOMS have room controlled heat, plenty of closet/drawer space, and cable TV (flat screen TV's in both, BluRay in Master, DVD in guest). The master has a King size bed and on-suite bathroom; the guest room has a Queen bed. Each bathroom has been updated with new lighting and fixtures (you will love the double shower head to have a hot shower after a cold day on the slopes)

OUR LITTLE EXTRAS, we have tried to add those touches that make our unit special; things like condiments, ceiling fans in every room, placemats & tablecloths, Ice bucket & an assortment of drinking glasses, and blender. We've included a PC Lap pad, games, puzzles, books & movies. The bedrooms feature luxurious bedding & luggage racks, bathrooms have hair dryer, nightlight, curved shower rod and pleny of hooks in the baths for your comfort and convenience.

One thing that gets often overlooked is that of GEAR STORAGE - you will love our ‘drying room’. Right off of the main door, you will find racks & hooks for all your gear. A fan was installed to help circulate the air for quick drying.

Located at the highest elevation at Snowshoe, SNOWCREST has cable, FREE high speed WI-FI & free local-call phone service. It features 4 hot tubs, a Lounge with large fireplace and Game area where the kids can entertain themselves. The location (no commercial activity) and private parking (available to Snowcrest guests only) makes it a safe & quiet place to stay.

Within walking distance to the Soaring Eagle lift & Top of the World – where you can purchase tickets & rent equipment. Soaring Eagle houses The Embers (5-star restaurant) & The Market place (take out gourmet). There is FREE shuttle service (so once you park you don’t have to drive again) to ALL amenities/slopes that Snowshoe & Silvercreek have to offer.

Hi, we're Mike and Kim Reid. We live about 7 hours away and it is worth every minute to come to Snowshoe. We enjoy travelling and all types of outdoor sports - from the sandy beaches to the snowy slopes.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2009

Why The Owner chose West Virginia

We have found Snowshoe enjoyable year round. We started coming to Snowshoe back in the 80’s. Every time, we stayed at Snowcrest and WOULD NOT stay anywhere else. We had young girls and we found this to be a great place for them to have their ‘independence’ in a safe and secure environment. We liked the gathering room for socializing with our fellow travelers & the hot tubs for those sore muscles. It was quiet yet conveniently located. The reasons we liked it then are the same reasons we like it now. We have “added those little extras” to make your stay at Snowshoe that much more special.

What makes this condo unique

Stay in one of the best places in Snowshoe at one of the best rates! 2.Ground floor – easy access – no elevators, steps away from hot tubs & laundry. Close to front and Slope-side entrances. 3. Home ‘conveniences’ PLUS more! Recently updated. Full size kitchen, with plenty of room to socialize or escape. We found this to be a HUGE COST SAVINGS by not having to eat out for every meal. 4. Great ambiance – Snowcrest is more like a Ski lodge than ‘just another hotel’ but with all the comforts of home. 5. Terrific western mountain views from the top of the mountain 6. Great gear storage – separate room off the entrance to store your gear and hang you wet bibs – with fan for circulation to speed drying time. 7. Safe place for kids to stay. The social room has a wide variety of video games for the kids to entertain themselves with. This is ONLY available for guests at Snowcrest. 8. Private Parking close to unit – you don’t have to fight the crowds & gives you quick and convenient access. 9. Free shuttles will take you anywhere on the mountain – once you park you don’t have to use your car again until you leave. It can take you to ‘where’ the action is and then back to your quiet retreat! 10. “Personal” treatment – this is a privately owned unit that has all the amenities you would want for yourself. It is rented on a ‘personal’ basis and we will work WITH you to get the best deal FOR you!

Snowcrest is the BEST!

We spent a wonderful weekend at this place. The condo had everything we needed. It was cozy, comfortable and had a lot cooking utensils, in addition to TV, internet, lots of games, hot tub, grill with picnic tables and a wonderful fire pit. Owner was very responsive to emails during our stay. Check-in and Check-out was very smooth. We managed to check out the New River Gorge Bridge as well as Mt. Spruce Knob. Would definitely come back to this place in winter for the ski season.

A Pleasant Experience

We enjoyed our stay at the same condo as last year. There were a few things that should be noted though. The garbage disposal was not working. The kitchen pots, pans, baking dishes were very unorganized. That was the first thing I did (organize the kitchen) to be able to find cooking pots and pans in the kitchen. The paper towel had little left on the roll. There was a full sub sandwich on the kitchen counter. There was lots of food particles in the kitchen sink where the dishwasher overflows into the sink where the garbage disposal isn't working. There was no light bulb in the one lamp. The one outlet didn't appear to be working. We did notice nice new faucet sets at the sinks. Thank you for your concern! We love that the hot tubs are right next to the unit!

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. I wish you had let me know about the disposal as the resident manager does our maintenance and the problem was something had gotten wedged and all he had to do was reset the switch. Sorry for the 'disorganized' kitchen I have tried to label the cabinets but find that not everyone puts things back where they got them. I will speak with the cleaning crew about the food. I don't know why a bulb was missing (there are spares in the guest closet) and the outlet that you think wasn't working is controlled by a wall switch (I'll try to label that). Hope you will still visit us again. Thanks, Kim

Great place for 6 people

Stayed Feb 4-7, 2017.

Great place for 6 people. My friends and I make a yearly trip to snowshoe and it was our first time at snowcrest. We will be coming back. Only complaint was no in room dryer, but we saw a dryer pretty close to our room on the last day. Big fridge, plenty of room. Oven cooks pretty slowly, have to double any suggested cooking time. All beds were comfortable. TV was a little fuzzy, but there's a bar within 2 min walk, so not a big deal.

Great place at a great price

Very quiet and cozy condo. Hot tub entrance right outside the door. Shuttle stops at the front door of your building. Very convenient. Right next to the building is a rental place, restaurant, and bar.

Perfectly Comfortable

We booked this condo for a wedding. We had three couples staying in the condo, and it was perfectly comfortable. It is a bit of a hike to the village, but the shuttle is really really convenient so you don't even have to worry about walking unless you want to. The property had everything we needed. THanks for a comfortable stay!
