Beautiful condo located on the edge of downtown Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, it is within close, easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the ocean but without the city noise. Enjoy magnificent ocean views from the 4th floor elevator accessed unit. The condo is simply decorated; complete with tiled floors, island style furnishings & art to enhance the Hawaiian feeling. I've tried to supply the condo with the vacationer in mind. That means plenty of beach towels, a cooler, books, games, puzzles and more. There is wireless high-speed Internet and cable, a flat screen 40" TV and blu-ray disc player for your convenience & enjoyment. The complex has beautifully landscaped grounds, pool and cabana (with sink, microwave and small fridge). The recently updated pool deck has gas grills, tables, chairs & umbrellas. The unit has a dedicated parking space in the underground garage (elevator access to all floors).
I've been coming to the islands of Hawaii for over 10 years, and when a dip in the housing market gave me the opportunity to own my little slice of paradise on the Big Island, I took the leap! Now I visit a couple times a year to enjoy the many wonderful things the Big Island in particular has to offer. I would be happy to help you make the most out of your vacation.

I chose Kaliua-Kona because it has beautiful beaches, great snorkeling, and a downtown that provides something for everyone. I really liked the small-town feel, yet with enough activities and things going on to keep it interesting. The Kona Pacific complex is close enough to downtown Kona without being in the middle of it all. In less than 5 minutes, you can walk to restaurants, shopping, or the ocean.
The unit comes complete with all major appliances including a full-size washer/dryer, new dishwasher, 2 full baths and air conditioning. There is access to the huge covered lanai from both the living and bedroom for beautiful ocean, garden and mountain views. I've fully stocked the unit with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. All you need to do is bring your bathing suit!
We enjoyed our stay. Some of the little things I appreciated about your unit were: sitting on the lanai, the complex was very quiet - didn't seem to be a lot of people in residence, beautiful landscaping, sharp kitchen knives (first time ever in a rental!), guide books, and the entry code lock instead of a keyed lock.
The unit was clean and comfortable and the entertainment system is excellent. The air conditioning was a life saver for us on a number of very hot days. The pool is also very clean and convenient and we used it often to cool off. The unit is close to excellent snorkling areas and within walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Kailua. Also of importance to us, the bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of linens, towel, beach towels and everything else we needed for our stay. The lenai was nice when it was breezy and you could watch the sun set from the lenai if you poked your head out a bit. It was more fun for us to simply walk for 3 minutes to a beach to enjoy the sunset which we did most days. Overall, I would give this unit an excellent review and I would give the owner very high marks as well.
This condo is fantastic. The location is right in Kona and you can walk to wonderful restaurants and shops. The condo is clean, very important. It has all the amenities you will need and more. It is spacious and bright and cheerful. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you will need. The AC is a big plus on humid days. Thank you , Linda Costa
We booked a last minute trip to Kona and was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. Bernie was extremely prompt in responding. We found the unit just as described. Good amount of space, and lots of extras like snorkeling equipment, fins, coolers, etc. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. We spent most of our time on the lanai which was very spacious and had a fantastic view of the ocean. The location is perfect, very close to town (walking distance) just a block off Alii Drive which made it a bit quieter. Having two bathrooms was really nice too.

Well equipped kitchen, lots of towels, travel coolers, snorkels, extra sunscreen and on and on. Just like being at home only in Hawaii. Walk to town. Host responded quickly to all our questions. He even sent us a lovely thank you note. Stay here - you won't regret it.
Fantastic unit. Great location near Kona Town. Unit is spacious and in great condition. We especially loved the beach chairs and boogie board and the coolers and frozen ice packs came in handy, too. Parking was a breeze, too. The owner Bernie takes great pride in makinf sure you will be comfortable during your stay. It's everything mentioned in the VRBO listing and more. My wife and I would absolutely stay here again.
A great location close to town and the ocean. Walking distance to restaurant, ocean, church, local shops. Easy access, convenient parking, affordable. Used beach chairs, towels and sun umbrella provided by the condo. Close to snorkeling beach. Owner was very pleasant to work with.
Located only a half block off Alii drive, our condo is walking distance to Kailua Village (Kona Town) and is just a short walk to the beach, shopping and a variety of restaurants, including Outback and Bubba Gump’s Shrimp House. Across the street, the Royal Kona Resort has several luaus each week. Great snorkeling, diving, surfing, beaches, tennis, golf and everything you come to Hawaii for are all easily accessed from this location. Approximately: 15 minutes south of Kona International Airport, 20 minutes from Coffee Plantations, 2 hours to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, 2 hours to Mauna Kea Summit Observatory, 1 hour to Parker Ranch.
