Welcome to Fuller-Daze Lodge in Steamboat Springs, CO: close to everything you need, yet on a very private cul-de-sac with spectacular views. Just 1 mile from the base area, Fuller-Daze overlooks Downtown Steamboat with the national forest 100-yards away. There is nothing better than enjoying a private hot tub with gorgeous daytime views of the entire Yampa Valley and Flat Tops Wilderness Area from our perch on the mountain, and absolutely amazing starry nights. Safe walking, biking, and snowshoe trails are right in the neighborhood. Sorry, no direct bus service on our private street; it picks up about 300 yards downhill, but we are less than a 10-minute drive to the free parking shuttle. It's an easy back and forth to the mountain.

This home is offered by the owners, Kevin & David; it's not in a rental pool and we do have a 5 night minimum. It's kept extremely clean by owner visits and our local managers, who make sure our guests have everything needed.

Licensed by the City of Steamboat Springs (#VHR-07-37) for vacation home rentals, we provide just about everything you might need for both winter and summer visits to the Rocky Mountains, including indoor boot storage, outdoor ski racks, garage, grill, hot tub, sauna, jacuzzi tub in master, well equipped kitchen, open floor plan, flat screen TVs, fireplace, elevated deck, stereo, wireless high speed internet, sledding hill, huge oversized leather sofa, two and half baths, 3 bedrooms for sleeping up to 8 and lots more...check out our video posting.

We are a dog friendly vacation home with a pet fee of only $125; we ask our guests to treat our home like their own, and to leave the house and premises in the same condition in which they take possession. Four hours of standard cleaning are included with each rental, which is what is required by our team to turn the house over; however, if pet hair, pet waste, stains, odors, food crumbs, excessive trash, etc. are left behind after checkout, you may incur additional cleaning charges, which are billed at $45 per hour. The neighborhood is very pet friendly and there is a mile loop that offers a great walk right from our home.

About Kevin miller

Billy looks kind of tired after skiing with Kevin & David. You can find Billy Kidd on the mountain most days at 1:00 pm at the top of the gondola, he is the number one ski ambassador for Steamboat and always has a story to tell. Kevin Miller and David Gates are equal partners in our home at Steamboat Springs that we have named 'Fuller-Daze' in honor of our college friend and best skier we've ever known, Tom Fuller, who passed away in 1984. Through Tom, we discovered Steamboat in the 1970's and as college roommates came to ski Steamboat several times before coming to the conclusion that this is where we really want to be while vacationing in the Rocky Mountains. Started out with a condo that was supposed to be ski in/ski out...if you count going over two roads skiing?? But fortunately, we were blessed with the advice of a local bar patron at the 'Tugboat' that there was some property still available in this new sub-division on the mountain slope just inside the city limits. One look and we had a contract within one hour...the views just were that good. We built Fuller/Daze with the idea of leasing when we couldn't be there ourselves and have included extra vanities, the sauna, and made everything work inside as easy as possible. You can see from our testimonials that we have had some very happy people stay with us over the years.

As partners, we both work to make sure the house is perfect, Kevin handles the marketing and reservations, David handles the finances and leases and makes sure to communicate to our managers the dates and times and any special requests our guests might have. Together, along with our managers, Rick & Greta, we think we have made leasing our home a pretty easy proposition. The idea being no surprises and having folks walk in with their expectations exceeded everytime. Perfect stay, the house way exceeded our expectations. Had a great time in Steamboat and the golf is incredible. Would love to come back in the winter. The views over the valley were beautiful and the kids loved the hot tub. Would highly recommend to families wanting privacy and a home well suited for a hassle free vacation.

Excellent house - has everything we could've asked for

Every winter for the last several years, we have spent 7-10 days in Steamboat for the great skiing and indoor tennis facility. This was our first time staying at the Fuller-Daze Lodge, and it was perfect. There were two of us, our two dogs, and we had a couple of friends come in town at different times to spend a few days with us as well. The location is ideal - short, easy drive (or via public transportation) to the main Steamboat ski area, and equally easy to get into town, the tennis facility, etc. The neighborhood and house are nice & quiet, very private - for us, much more relaxing than staying at resort lodge or cramped condo on the slopes. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, the main living/social area spacious with nice entertainment options (TV, music), large quiet/private bedrooms, and a sweet hot tub looking out towards the opposite mountain & valley. We haven't set dates for our 2018 trip yet, but if we're able to return to Steamboat, this is where we'll want to be again!

Our favorite VRBO rental

This is the only VRBO rental home we have ever stayed in twice, and we will continue to stay here whenever possible when we travel to Steamboat. For our family, staying in a private home with a private hot tub is the only way to go when we take a ski vacation. The house is perfectly equipped with appliances, cookware, linens, etc. like you would want in your own home. Everything is exceptionally clean. The owners have been extremely professional, organized, and reasonable to work with. Our kids beg us to return here every year because they love this house so much!

Annual Summer Trip to Steamboat

Fantastic home, near gondola, easy to bike to town, and quiet. Amazing views off the back deck with nice hot tub. The appointments were first rate with a fully equiped kitchen. Garage held all our toys i bikes, tubes, fishing gear, and a great grill. We all had a wonderful time - even our best friend, the dog! Hope to be back again next year.

Great Place!

Wonderful home to stay in for a winter getaway! We had a small issue with the cable, and the owners sent the property manager there very promptly and had it working in no time. The home is very well kept, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Cooking for 8 was easy in the big kitchen, and it was open to the large family room so the cooks were still able to hang out with the group.

Overall we had a great time and loved staying at the house!

Great house for a rental. It should be as I helped design it and have been back at least a dozen times! The owners go to great lengths to keep it updated, clean and functional. I would and have recommended it to others and they have enjoyed it as well.

Perfect spot!

Beautiful location and perfect spot for our family! Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and grilling Christmas dinner in a light snowfall was priceless! Our dog was right at home and the kids loved the hot tub and sledding down the backyard hill! Would love to return again!
