This building has an elevator.
When you look at the quote for your dates, the rates may be different than what you saw on the previous screen. This is because we have lower rates on weeknights, and the previous screen shows the weeknight rate as our only rate. If you picked weekend dates then the rates will be higher. Downtown Asheville is VERY popular on the weekends but not quite as busy during the week. In order to accommodate this we lowered our weeknight rates. For last minute bookings, we also offer discounts and flexibility on minimum stays of two nights on weekends. All of your costs are calculated automatically with the correct rates when you select your dates in the online booking window.
For parking, we recommend the public garage under Aloft hotel on Biltmore Ave. It's close to The Altamont Condos and not very expensive. Many guests leave their cars for their stay and walk around downtown and use a ride sharing service if needed.
1895 restored historical elements uniquely blended with environmentally safe modern amenities and style The Altamont Condos pay tribute to the past while generously respecting the future! Located in the heart of Downtown Asheville on one of it's most beautiful tree-lined streets this newly renovated structure includes six condos all with full living spaces and kitchens. No need for driving. Park your car and walk to all that Asheville has to offer!
Feel free to bring the entire family, we are child friendly

Great downtown location!
Great downtown location close to all the action. Condo is very nice and would stay here again. Only minor knocks on the rental are lack of parking and very small bedroom.
Thank you for the review.
A new parking deck just opened up on Coxe Avenue. That deck is pretty close by and not downhill from our location. That makes things much easier going forward.
We look forward to seeing you again!
Location, location, location!
This apartment could not be more conveniently located, right in the heart of downtown Asheville. It is in an historic, brick building with elevator access and amazing views of the city and surrounding mountains from the balcony. We found the place to be super clean and cozy. Being within walking distance of a lot of the breweries, bars, restaurants, and shops, we parked the car for our stay and walked everywhere. Parking was a bit frustrating, so plan this out in advance. The rental owners are very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be staying here for future visits!
Perfectly quaint, great location!
I was absolutely impressed with the apartment and it's location. Very clean and quaint, and within walking distance to everything! I highly recommend!
Location was awesome!
Clean, quiet and great location to enjoy walking the city
Great downtown stay
We stayed at the Altamont for a long weekend. It is close to tons of great restaurants, in the middle of everything, but was not too noisy. Easy to get in and out of town from this location. We were in a comfortably furnished 3rd floor, 1-BR condo, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony (in afternoon shade) with a glass of wine at the end of the day. One night we could hear the show at the theater but they ended early enough that it wasn't a problem. Parking on the weekend and overnight was inexpensive and easily accessible, but I can see if you stayed through the week it could be more problematic. We will probably stay here again on our next visit to Asheville!
The rooms were great except the bedrooms. In one room the door could not be shut due to the bed size so the light from the door was eye opening. In the queen sized bedroom next door the headboard is not attached so every time I rolled over or even slightly moved it would hit the wall - which is not pleasant through the night. Also in this room I could not turn on the ceiling fan as it would make a constant rattle and again not pleasant through the night. More curtains could be put on the door and windows or at least a curtain on the door - preferably both darker in color to hide light first thing in the morning. If I want light I can open the curtain all together.
