This second floor condo has one bedroom (queen) and a sleeper sofa (queen). It features a full kitchen/bar area for dining, a large den area, a large deck with unobstructed views of Downtown Asheville and Beaucatcher Mountain. It also includes a washer and dryer.

The Altamont is a newly renovated 1895 building on the most beautiful tree-lined street in downtown Asheville. Church Street is central to everything in downtown from Pack Square to Pritchard Park, and from the Civic Center to the Orange Peel. Park your car for your entire stay and walk to the most interesting and eclectic restaurants, shopping and nightlife!
A word about the Historic/'Green' renovation that makes The Altamont one of a kind:
The vacation condos were created to provide pleasant, comfortable and reasonably priced quarters to spend time in Downtown Asheville. Enjoy the charm of an old building while taking advantage of modern green technology. Water is heated with solar panels on the roof, all permanent light fixtures are CFL, most materials were manufactured within 500 miles of Asheville, and paint and stains are all Low VOC resulting in very high indoor air quality. The beautiful hardwood floors are original.
The renovation also created The Altamont Theatre, Asheville’s Best Listening Room for live music offering the best acoustics in the region. Spend your vacation time with us and see nationally touring artists like Jay Ungar and Molly Mason, Balsam Range, California Guitar Trio, John Vezner, Mary Gauthier, Geoff Achison and many more.
Performances start at 8:00 and are usually over by 11:00 – so no late night parties going on below you.
Not recommended for young children. Shows do not go late, but if you have a child with an early bedtime we recommend the third floor.
