Casa Margarita is in a quiet, serene neighborhood. Yet, walk a few short blocks to RT. 66 some of Albuquerque’s best restaurants, shops, galleries, coffee, groceries, salons, theatre, UNM, and more. Only 4-5 miles to Old Town and Downtown.

- 3 or 4 bedroom: the one story 3-bdrm, 2 bath, main house is spacious and beautiful. The gorgeous detached Casita is optional add on @$49/nt or $299/wk

- refrigerated air conditioning (a real bonus in Albuquerque as most homes have Swamp Coolers)

- sink into the wonderful Jet tub

- large-screen HDTVs with DirecTV/DVR (record your favorite shows & games for viewing after a day of sightseeing)

To maintain the historical nature of our home in this historical neighborhood, we have kept the original 12-pane windows. We do not allow opening of these windows as they are very difficult to close and no longer have screens. Our very powerful air conditioning system keeps the home cool and comfortable in the summers.

We have rented homes in Cape Cod, Paris, Orlando, LA, and more places. This is by far one of my favorite home rentals! There is a reason why this home has such high ratings and wonderful reviews! As soon as we pulled up, I smiled from ear to ear! Upon opening the front door, I was immediately disappointed that I had only rented for three nights; I wish we had rented for a whole week!

Every detail you can imagine has been done here! Carol is a wonderful hostess with a great eye!

The layout of the home (master at the back...privacy for mom and dad...yay!) is spectacular! The outside courtyard area is so nice. Also, the use of the garage games/toys for kids is a nice touch (washer and dryer are there as well). There is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy!

The location of the home is wonderful! The Nob Hill area is cute and quaint! There are great restaurants, a park, and even the "spaceship homes" all around the corner!

I will rent this home again! You will not regret renting this home! I still can't believe the homeowner offers this wonderful property at such an economical rate. Do yourself a favor and stop looking at any other've found your perfect vacation rental!

Comfortable, convenient, everything we needed.

In town for our daughter's wedding, the house suited our needs perfectly. The kitchen was well equipped and layout was such that we could host a dinner party for 12 very comfortably. Carol was very helpful, letting us know about special local events and providing just the right amount of support. Thank you!

House fit our needs pretty well and we were happy about that! We bought dishwasher packets and TP. No big deal. House was otherwise well equipped.

We do provide those along with full-sized shampoo, conditioner, body wash, clothes soap and dryer sheets, coffee and fixings, condiments and more. We try to think of things to make our guests travel/stay easy. If you stay with us again and need anything, please call me or my two property managers. We will be happy to drop off anything we missed.

There is nothing bad I have to say about this house. The neighborhood is great. It is close to tons of restaurants. The house itself is fantastic and very roomy. Carol is super responsive and always a pleasure to work with.

Well maintained property in quiet neighborhood, close to everything

We were in ABQ for 2 days of meetings at the university. Casa Margarita was well suited to our needs. The host was responsive, yet invisible. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet walking distance from historic Rte. 66.

Short taxi ride to our meetings on campus, which we continued in the evening at the Casa. The layout provided sufficient public space for multiple conversations, and well located bedrooms for privacy for 3 adults.

Some holidays and events are at a higher rate and already include Casita in the rate shown. Please contact us with any questions, to request a quotes with Casita, or to discuss any rates or quotes. We are easy to work with.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
