1 Bedroom(enlarged master compared to other 1bedroom in building), 1 1/2 bath, high end 'hip' furnishing in a penthouse unit with unusual 12 ft ceiling, marble floors, high tech lighting and floor to ceiling windows with spectacular views of ocean, South Beach and Bay and especially downtown Miami at night. Transparent fiber shades that block sun but NOT view. Building directly on beach and new North Beach walkway allows jogging, long walks adjacent to dunes.Pool is directly adjacent to beach and ocean.( Guest comments speak for themselves!)
Bel Aire on the Ocean is directly on the beach in the North Beach area,(65th and Collins) within walking to many restaurants and shops, groceries etc reducing the need for a car. South Beach is only 10-15 minutes away by car or cab.Between Fountainbleu and Bal Harbor. With extra high ceiling, high tech lighting and being on the 18th floor there are fabulous views in 3 directions to ocean and beach, the lights of South Beach and Downtown Miami across the Bay. Parking for 1 car ( or 2 cars tandem). and fully equipped with everything you would need for a great stay. We have another property in Colorado with VRBO, with only great guest comments (see 270699)This is first year we have listed the Miami Beach property since it was only used by us and our children up to this time. We live in Miami so attending to anything during guest stays is easy!! After making a reservation we provide you with a detailed information sheet about the building, the unit and especially what to do, suggestions for restaurants etc to make your stay the most enjoyable we can.
The furnishings are modern, bright with a pull out sofa bed, king size bed in master, 40' wall mounted plasma TV in living room and 37' in bedroom. Internet and WIFI within unit.Marble floors throughout and designer 1/2 bath. Additionally the bedroom has been expanded from the regular bedroom in the building making in extra comfortable plus it opens to the deck and gives you ocean views from the king size bed!!(Bedroom has'black-out' curtains). BelAire on the Ocean has an on site manager, concierge,engineer and valet. There is a security system for entire building needing key fob to enter building and floors etc. Cable and wireless provided with rental as well as utilities at NO EXTRA charge.
It is necessary for all renters to fill out an application to the building for security purposes. there is a $100 application fee. Depending on length of lease owner will cover this cost. The building requires a $1,500 move in security that the OWNER PAYS.
Pets up to 30 lbs allowed with additional security/damage deposit and prior approval by owner.
I provide a detailed information sheet to all guests including information about arrival, the building and specifics in the apartment. I meet all guests on arrival.
Arrangements can be made for weekly or biweekly housekeeping if desired and bathroom comes initially with toiletries(aromatic soaps, lotions, shampoos, conditioner, hairdryer) and unit is also stocked with basic kitchen cleaning detergents, soaps, paper towels and toilet paper.

This is our weekend, beach get-away
Besides the great views, relaxing sound of ocean and breezes, you have direct access to the beach in front of building as well as the pool just off the beach. At night you have quick and easy access to all the restaurants and clubs etc of South Beach and within walking for the building are various neighborhood retail stirs making it very convenient to get groceries, rent movies or access drugstore for quick necessities.
I stayed here for ~2.5 months while my condo was under construction.
First I should say that my permanent residents is less than 2 blocks away (also on the beach), so I am biased about the neighborhood, location and restaurants. It is a nice neighborhood with local restaurants, bars and stores, it is the opposite of South Beach...but its <5 miles away so you can take an Uber, taxi, bus, free beach shuttle (takes a couple of transfers) or rent a citibike
The building is great - modern, clean, good amenities, and the staff is lovely. The main concierge knew my name within days and all the staff was polite and happy.
The apartment is amazing with a view from every room. It is clean modern and easy to live in. Comfortable bed and nice kitchen . Fully stocked for the beach (towels, umbrellas, toys, chairs, cooler, etc.). and the amazing views of both the beach and the city when on the balcony are incredible.
And lastly, every review that I read prior to meeting the owner is true. He is a responsive owner who will check on your stay, follow up (if any issues) and a genuinely nice person. For my particular situation, I kept asking for extensions, as the construction on my condo was (is) never ending and he was very accommodating. Thanks Bob!
I have and will continue to recommend this unit to visiting friends and family.
This is my sixth year staying at this condo for 3 months in the winter season. I have friends in the same building and this unit stands out compared to all the others. It is a LARGE one bedroom and the penthouse floor makes it feel bigger. The balcony runs the entire length of the condo and the view are outstanding since you look down at the park (not another hi rise) and large expanse of the beach. The owner does a great job with updates and keeping everything in top shape as if he is staying there. Furniture is nice, well equipped kitchen, double length parking inside the garage, with beach chairs. This is a great building, everything is kept up-to-date, fresh, and the pool + new BBQ area are great. Excellent 24-hour security and located on the boardwalk with newer Publix grocery an easy 3 blocks away. hard to beat this one in Miami; I will be back for year 7.
Just spent the month of July there and the owner was very welcoming and warm. Fantastic views and great amenities in the apartment. Walking distance to many restaurants and markets.
My wife and I stayed in this apartment for 25 nights and loved it. We come from Argentina and really enjoyed this marvelous apartment
The apartment is right in Miami Beach and couldn't be any closer to Miami City, right in front of the beach there's a walking board and all the cafes and restaurants you could possibly want and a couple of blocks away there's a new Publix which makes it easier to walk and shop your groceries
The apartment itself was excellent. It is exactly as per the pictures & details and has enough room to make an extended stay enjoyable. It is very secure with doormen 24/7. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom had plenty of space. I can't describe the view you have from your bedroom and the living room, its astonish, you can see Miami's bay as well you have all the ocen for oyurselve right in front of the apartment....I wish we could take the view with us!!!!
We found Robert (the owner) to be very, very helpful in all aspects, easy to deal with and quick to respond to any questions. He even called us quite a few times to see if we were enjoying our stay and if everything was alright with the apartment
We give it our recommendation to anyone traveling to Miami and no doubt we will come back to this condo, we highly recommended and you will not regreat it at all

Based on the reviews here, my wife and I rented the apartment for 9 days during Christmas. It really was perfect for us. The owner, met us at the building on our arrival, showed us around and could not have been nicer and more accommodating. The apartment itself has a stunning view, is very tastefully-decorated, in a great location, with all the amenities, including parking and an imaculate gym. When we had a problem with the wi-fi, The owner's son, who is an IT professional, come immediately to fix. The building staff, from reception, to maintenance staff, were wonderful. Our daughter came to visit for a few days, and was extremely comfortable on the sofa bed in the living room.
Since we live overseas, we've decided that this is the perfect place to spend our time in the US on vacation, and we will definitely be returning.
My wife and I stayed here Feb - April 2012. We loved it. The condo is exactly as described, you will never tire of the view - it is spectacular 24 hours a day with downtown Miami to the west and very nice southern beach view. The adjacent park really expands your openness with a huge balcony; Deco bike rental station at the park is a plus. Ideal for two people; safe area, great broadwalk, and decent restaurants in walking distance. New Publix being built 4 blocks north will complete the package as an ideal long term rental. We have rented in MIA for 4 years and this is the best lcoation; close enough to SOBE but not too close.
