About Cathy or Dan Rosenfield

We've owned property in Brian Head for many years. We've cherished watching our children experience skiing, snowboarding, fishing, hiking, horseback riding and more while growing up with Brian Head.

We hope you'll have the opportunity to experience Brian Head and create memories of your own.

Cathy or Dan Rosenfield purchased this condo in 1998

Why Cathy or Dan Rosenfield chose Utah

Brian Head provides an experience that can't be found in Las Vegas. The weather is cooler, it snows and the pace is much more relaxing than city life. We've recently added a dumbwaiter which makes the experience all the more pleasant. It brings all your luggage to you.

Giant Steps is a Ski-in, Ski-Out complex right next to the main chair lifts. The property is well managed and many improvements and upgrades have been made over the years.

Common areas include a large spa, sauna, restrooms, game room, laundry, covered parking and walkways, fire pits, horseshoes, basketball and more.

What makes this condo unique

We try to anticipate the needs or our guests. In addition to the usual amenities, we have a fully stocked kitchen and invite our guests to use anything they need to make their experience wonderful. A recent remodel keeps the condo fresh and in peak condition for our guests.

Kitchen stocked & Ski storage awesome!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed opening up the kitchen cupboards & the new refrigerator to find many usable condiments plus more. The ski storage was the greatest, keeping boards, skis and wet items out of the condo while the boot warmer worked perfectly.

The master bedroom is the room for snuggling, as you find you will tend to roll toward the center:)

Our son and family totally enjoyed the mini-suite environment of the upstairs loft.

The new carpet felt wonderful and we enjoyed the mountain decor. We would rent this condo again.

Owner's Response: We're glad you enjoyed your stay. We will look into the bed it's new so I'm kind of surprised, but happy you found it cozy. We value the input of our renters and really appreciate you taking the time to review your stay. Hope to see you again soon. Southern Utah is amazing in summer too. With Zion, Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks all close, the scenery is awe inspiring.

Best Spring skiing that we have had ever! Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We have visited Brian Head many times and have also stayed in the Giant Steps Condos many times as well. This unit is very well equipped in so many ways. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal for 8-10 which we did over and over again. The space allows you to banish the children to the loft while enjoying a glass of wine on the wrap around deck in the afternoon. This is truly ski in ski out. We have stayed in this same complex from Thanksgiving until this year April 11th with enough snow to ski in ski out. The private ski locker is amazing and i do mean amazing. Dry and heated boots make everyone happy. The upstairs loft accommodated the kids in the family wonderfully. There is a mini fridge in the loft as well as 3 beds and a couch and love seat. Some comments mention the antiques on the walls as a problem. Uh no. We stayed in this unit with family member from 4yrs to 77 yrs. The decor, while not the simple clean decor in many units, has a story. We found the antiques to be interesting and fun, the more modern art and photography a complete joy. Overall this unit is spacious and well equipped which is what you will be looking for. We often visit for many days. In other units we have found all closets locked and very little space to store belongings which has been tough. This unit has ample storage and it is available to the vrbo renter. I would highly recommend this unit to others looking for a wonderful Brian Head experience.

Owner's Response: We're so glad you enjoyed your stay. The ski closet is a great place to store your equipment, freeing up the space inside the condo for people. Warm boots are just a nice way to start your day on the slopes. The upstairs suite is unique to our unit and we too have enjoyed having this special space for the kids. Truth be told, we've enjoyed the glass of wine on the patio too. We try to provide everything our guests need for the perfect stay. We hope to see you again soon.

family of 9

  • 4 of 5

We had our family of 9 here and we all really enjoyed the stay and the condo. Everything was clean and well maintained and had plenty of extra items that might possibly be needed. It was great to have a wood fireplace to enjoy and all the wood provided for us. Also we really loved the ski closet which was next to our condo to use to dry out our boots and gloves and also enjoyed the sleds that were provided. Another thing that was so great is that there was plenty of parking inside the garage. We had three cars and no one had to park outside. The dumb waiter was not working so everything had to be hauled up the three flights of stairs by human power which wasn't so great. We had very good information about check in procedures and how to operate everything before we arrived. Very nice place. Thank you.

Cozy, convenient to lifts and skiing, disorganized and messy.

  • 4 of 5

I really wanted to give this condo 5 stars, but the disorganization and clutter in the bedroom closets and the kitchen cupboards prevent me from doing that. There are many positives about this place, and despite the clutter and and disorganization, it grew on the 4 of us who stayed there for 10 days. There are some really cool stuff on the walls that make it homey, but the carpet needs to go. It is pretty dirty and stained therefore dusty. However, we made it homey mainly because the women in our party cleaned out all of the cupboards in the kitchen and made it much more usable for ourselves and for future renters. We also bought a descent cheese grater. One thing missing are glass bowls for use in the microwave. There are no bowls to cook/heat up vegetables, oatmeal, etc., in the microwave. Other than that, there are plenty of pots, pans, casserole dishes, etc. Something else needed are bowls, i.e., for salads, cereal. There were only 4 bowls. Also, not enough wine glasses.

The master bedroom TV doesn't work, nor do the ceiling fans in the living room and the upstairs loft (which is really a cool area). Warning: This condo is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator, so be prepared to walk up and down stairs many times. The dumb waiter is very helpful for luggage and ski equipment (not skis), but be prepared to hike up and down the stairs.

Despite all of my criticisms, I would rent this place again and recommend it to others. My criticisms are just suggestions to the owners for improvements in comfort and appearance.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. It has been a busy rental season and I'm sorry for the disorganization. I appreciate your efforts to straighten out the cabinets. The carpet will be replaced this year. I've blocked out dates on our calendar to address the maintenance issues. I'll add your items to my shopping list. I sincerely appreciate hearing what items we can add to make your stay better. Hope to have you as our guests again soon.

Good location

  • 4 of 5

Good location and clean. The condo itself is older and needs a little repair, but the ski locker/sleds was handy as was the location.
