About Leslie and Ed
We are a married couple of 16 years with 3 wonderful children. After a job transfer moved us to Hilton Head Island, SC, we decided to raise our family here and have loved every minute of it.
Leslie and Ed purchased this Condo in 2013
Why Leslie and Ed chose Hilton Head Island
It is in a great gated community on the sound with wonderfully kind neighbors. I see so many owners updating their properties and love that so many of them make this their homes.
What makes this Condo unique
This off plantation condo located in a water front community is easy to access. It is less than a mile away from the beautiful Palmetto Hall Plantation. Close to restaurants, shopping, dining , golf, tennis, etc., makes it a desirable destination for all travelers.

We loved the condo!! It fit our needs so well. Greatly appointed met our every need. We will definitely keep this one on the repeat list!!
We had such a great stay!! Our condo was perfect! Very short walk to the beach, pool, and accessories for the beach. We literally didn’t need to bring anything except our swimsuits and tooth brushes😊
Adorable, clean and beach theme on scenic end of the island.
Pros: The condo was very nicely decorated and clean. The entire complex was probably built in the 80's and has nice pools and tennis courts. The condo was a very good price and right by the bike trail and sound. I loved the fact we were on the Port Royal Sound. We saw whales, dolphins, alligators and the shelling is pretty good. We cooked on the grille near the beach under the trees and near a swing. Perfect for walking around especially when the tide goes out 200 ft in the sound. Not a crowded beach. Almost reminded me of the Caribbean except the water is not blue. The island is very lush with large trees and plants. We visited Savanna, Blufton and Beaufort (highly recommend) as well as taking a shark fishing tour in the marshes which was amazing. This is a bikers paradise and we rode all over the bike trails. We ate at the only restaurant on the beach in Hilton Head called Coast and we highly recommend this place. It is located in Sea Pines Plantation.
Cons: I would not swim anywhere in the ocean in Hilton Head. I saw a 5 ft shark in front of me in less than knee deep water in Sea Pines Plantation. There are many sharks in the marshes and they probably come close to the beaches because sea turtles lay their eggs on the beaches and the babies swim out at night as they hatch. Stick to the pools and you will be fine. Also the pillows were uncomfortable.
Overall everything was great. The apartment could have been a little cleaner, however it was an excellent location and easy access to many beaches and shops! The owners were very nice and responsive with any questions we had.
The apartment was clean, but there was perfume smell when we walked in we couldn’t find any facecloths. Complex needs some updating, pictures made the place look better than what it did.
What a great place! Best beach on Hilton Head Island!
We rented Leslie's condo for 2 months and it was wonderful. We had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed playing tennis, (yes tennis rackets provided!), going to the beach, (cooler and beach chairs were there), and swimming in the indoor pool and using the hot tub. The Spa is located on one of the best beaches I've ever seen. I saw eagles everyday, wood storks, egrets, heron's, Osprey, dolphins and a wealth of wildlife. This beach is fantastic if you're into photography!! You can also dig for clams and bring them back to cook for your dinner, the kitchen is well equipped for the home cook as well. Leslie is the best, I will definitely be back again!! Thank you Leslie for a great get away from the cold north!
You are the best! So courteous, kind and CLEAN!
